     Natalie Portman is WAY better!

There is NO WAY that Natalie Portman would have made a better Elizabeth than Keira. Natalie is great in Star Wars and movies like that, but I could not have imagined her in POTC. Keira practically MADE that part.

I agree, but shes still a better actor...

Good morning, Star Dust! My poor sister accidentally posted in my Mom's user name. :) I think her REAL user name here is SingingAsIGo. BTW, she is the proud Treasure Hunter for our family. :)

Can't wait to get some more Lamplighter Books!!! Thanks again TONS for the list of "greatest"'s. :)

    Re: Favorite Book

I like both Natalie & Keira, but Keira looks a little too much like a boy in the 2nd Pirate movie (I haven't seen the 3rd, so I wouldn't know if she contiunes her boyish acts/looks. :)

And for the most part, guys I know seem to like Natalie Portman better. :) (Maybe because she looks more like a girl????)

I love LP books!  Yes, they are cheaper at VF.  The Lamplighter is one of my favorites!  Another really good one is The Wide, Wide World...you might like that one, JBR!  I have read most of them.

    Re: Favorite Book

Almost all of them I think. The parents of the man that owns Light of Faith live right down the road from me. They run a home library of the things that they sell and more so they have at least most, if not all, of the LP books. I think they got a few new ones recently, but I haven't been borrowing any books from them in the past 6 months unless they have to do with Jamestown!Big Smile

    Re: Favorite Book

Yes, I have read all but a few...The Lost Clue is great!!  So is the Spanish Brothers!  What ever you do when you read them...DON'T LOOK AHEAD!!!  I did that with the Spanish Brothers and wish I hadn't!  I didn't on The Lost clue though, it totally ruins it if you look on that one...believe me, it's worth the wait, just like it is on The Lamplighter!
