Oh, boy...that is a hard question...

The Lost Clue, by O.F. Walton

The Spanish Brothers, by Deborah Alcock

The Wide, Wide World, by Susan Warner

    The Black Arrow

I could go on and on and on and on, but those are a few of my favorites.

[Edit] I read The Scottish Chiefs...it may be, if not my favorite, about my second favorite book!

I love 'Wide Wide World' too! Except the ending. :( Great topic, BTW. :) A few of my favorites (because I have SOOOOO many): - Little Women (one of my all-time faves) - The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Kate DiCamillo is an excellent authoress!) - Derwood, Inc. (hilarious!) - So Much More (an excellent, godly non-fiction book. Highly recommended) - Anything by Charles Dickens - Jane Erye (LOVE old classics!) ok, as my list is becoming longer and longer and I was striving for under 3 books, I shall stop now. :)

This is kinda funny but when I was a kid (Im still a teenager) I no kidding read like 85 different hardy boy boooks, lol. My favorite list would be The lymond chronicles all six of them, Winds of War and War in Rememberance, not to mention robinson crusoe, a lot of Zane Gray books, Alas, Babylon and War of the Worlds.

YAAAY! Another writer in our midst! :) Never read Not my Will, but heard it was great. Anne of Green Gables - love them! To Have & the Hold - the original - you mean there is a different version than the one VF puts out? It's better? I would love to know, so that I can check the other one out from the library if it is better... (I have found that, sadly, the older you get the less time there is to read, so you'd better make sure you are reading the BEST!)

    Re: Favorite Book

I don't have time to read a whole lot, I'm usually beat by the end of the day. However, I do read alot of political books. Such as those by the Kennedy Brothers (From Mississippi, not Massachusets :D.) and some G.A. Henty. I liked With Lee in Virginia, ir was pretty good. I also read biographies, I have read every major CSA General's and Jefferson Davis's. As well, as other great men such as Washington, Jefferson, Andrew Jackson etc.

Lord of the Rings is second on my list along with the Hobbit, Narnia comes in third.

Also, the sequel of Eragon is very good.

Henty's 'the Reign of Terror" is awesome!

Even though im a guy Pride and Prejudice is pretty good.

Then come in the classics, the Scarlet Pimpernel is also very good (almost anything to do with the french revolution is good)

The Count of Montecristo also, etc, etc, etc...
