I have missed a couple of the puzzles recently but I have a reason. The 11th was a recap of old puzzles, although I found out after it was gone that there was actually a hidden puzzle. Didn't even think of that as a possibility. The 12th was a puzzle that had no easy way for me to describe its solution so I didn't. Now we have the 13th which is a variation on one of the prior puzzles involving compound words only more difficult than the first because the resulting words are 9 letters long and the two parts are not a specific length.
The solutions are as follows, although I did not think these were as appropriate as the last one. For example, I don't think a squaw really is another name for a lady and a king really isn't a name for a ringleader, but I guess it isn't easy coming up with these so I will give them a pass.
