If anyone is willing to give any hints or tips on solving this one.  Everytime I think I'm on the right track I get no where.  Thanks in advance.

I thought it was just me. Everywhere I look is also just a dead end. If I figure anything out I will let you know.

The key is in the word Soule----with an e

Got it!  Thanks Violet!  I was looking at the wrong Soule!

I have started this hunt rather late, but any way.  I am tottally stuck with the pillar answer for this one.  any help would be good.

Try a search on Google or Yahoo! (I use Yahoo usually) - try doing a search for:  Massachusetts Soule government

Look for the entry (it's one of the first ones on the first page of results) that refers to the group that landed at the spot named in the first anagram on the first page of Challenge 8.  The second heading should give you what you seek!
