It's been awhile since anything was posted here, so I thought I would ask if any of you ever read any of the books by Lloyd Douglas. My favorite was 'The Robe', but I also liked 'Magnificent Obsession'. There are some old movie versions of each as well.

Yes, it's been forever!  I read The Robe, really liked that book. I saw the movie The Robe as well, which actually led me to read the book.  Usually if I see a movie that was good and based on a book, I try to find the book.  I read The Big Fisherman, but I don't remember as much about that.  What is the Magnificent Obsession about?
