    Lamplighter books

I just read a really good LP book, Rosa of Linden Castle. I really enjoyed it! (Thanks, Star Dust, for recommending it!)

What is everyone's favorite LP book?

That's hard! I really liked The Spanish Brothers, and The Hidden Hand.

Yes, that's a hard question! Three of my favorites are Stepping Heavenward, The Basket of Flowers, and The Lost Clue.

Hi Justin and Acorn!! How are you both?

I think I have The Hidden Hand on hold at the library. I can't wait to read it!

The Lost Clue is great! I also really like The Lamplighter.

Hi! I'm doing well! I liked the Lost Clue also! The Hidden Hand was kind of neat because it was in pre-WBS Virginia.

Hello! I'm doing well! How about you, JBR?

I really want to read The Hidden Hand, but the libraries near us don't have it. Sad I'll have to see if I can get it via inter-library loan.

    Hi! I'm doing well also.

Neat! I will have to ask Mom to pick it up at the library soon. Yeah, try that inter-library loan! There is one library in the system that is really far away from us, but it is the one that has all of the good books! LOL!

Yes, it's very good! Here's a review from the Lamplighter website:

"There was once a kingdom near the treacherous Hemlock Forest where an evil king and his followers dwelt. Only those who held on to the Golden Thread could wander past the boundaries of the kingdom and return safely. It is a fearful thing to lose one's way, and Prince Phillip must learn the lessons of the Golden Thread if he is ever to return."

I haven't read that one in quite a while, but I remember it being good.  You would like Sir Knight of the Splendid Way, Acorn!  I think it's as good as Pilgrim's Progress!
