Lady Abigail:I would like to know what makes you think that the South did not do just that? I've been studying the War for a very long time (wrote about and debated it numerous times) and I've found that the South was MUCH more righteous than the North!
That is true. But were they fighting for the right reasons? Yes, in most ways, they were. But in some ways... they were not asking for the right things. I'll let Randy pick up from here...
Let me clarify something, you all:
I am not a Unionist, Yankee, etc. I think that the South was a whole lot more righteous. If the South seceded again, the circumstances were right, and they were fighting for the right reasons, I probably would join them; maybe even become a general. But we must face it that God is always the judge, and will give victory to those who will best fulfill his plan.
Now try and argue with that.
