Who has seen these movies? We just did, and I REALLY liked both of them. It is amazing to me. What both sides were willing to put on the line, for what they felt was right. (I guess this is ok, when you guys talking about a movie.)

I think that they are both about the Civil War...

I have read lot's of books, about the Civil War. But to actually SEE it, you kind of feel an awe. For the officers to commit their men, to charge after charge. And for the men to do it, was really amazing. It was really something also, how Chamberland held the ground at Little Round Top. And to top it off, it was filmed on location!

WOW! I'll ask my grandfather if he has those--he loves historically based movies.

So do I. I REALLY like the music too! They are certainly two of my favorite movies.

They are very long, over four hours each. But well worth it, I think. There is a third one too, The Last Full Measure. We have not been able to find it, though.

They are all books, too. That is what is coming up when I search on google or ebay for them...

Wow, it looks like it hasn't even come out yet! I guess that it took 15 years to put the first one together.... But the last one came out in '02.
