And I don't think your comment was offensive (although I was not the puzzles creator, but), this is something that has been said by any number of us who have worked on this puzzle and some others that were created by individuals for whom English was not their first language.  Spelling and sentence structure can, at times, be difficult to understand.  So much so that those of us who have finished the puzzles have found that at times we are at a disadvantage, as we think/understand/comprehend English in a different structure.  Anyone who has taken a foreign language knows that sentence structure is far different than ours, and I think it does carry over into the riddles. The best hints you can find are on page 9 of this thread.  It is 9 letters long and it's not Mayan, it's Incan - you were quite close!
