So is anyone else watching Heroes? It's my must see show this season surpassing LOST, which I hate to admit is really going downhill, but that's another post altogether.

Although there looks to be a lot of action coming up as the heroes try to save the world, right now it's an interesting character study. How some embrace their new abilities (like Hiro) while others question them (Painter) or disdain them altogether (congressman.) I like how the characters are starting to come in contact and join together. Whether by synchronicity or coincidence, it's working for me.

If anyone else is watching, what do you think?

It looked really good but i missed half the season. seems to late to pick up now.

It's not too late. NBC.com has episodes you can download. Or Television Without Pity.com has synopses of the episodes. Seriously, it's the best show on TV right now. Don't miss out. And they always recap at the beginning to show what's happened before.

My husband is totally in to Heroes.  I have watched enough of it to know it is good television, which totally surprised me.  I thought for sure it would just be an X-Men ripoff.

I've never seen X-men (though my son was Wolverine for Halloween), but I thought Heroes might turn out to be some cheesy rip-off, too, Scoutmom. I'm so happy I was wrong.

My hubby was out of town for the Heroes premiere. He's been nonchalant about the show when I ask him about it, but come Monday he's right there watching with me and asking questions which means he's hooked, too. He prefers talk radio or news shows and it's fun to see since he hasn't been like this about any show since The Pretender!

Oh, man, memories!  LOVED the Prentender.  Hubby and I both were hooked on that when it was on. 

What happened to Hiro? I wanted to pause the TV when I saw him in that picture. Anyone want to hazard a guess?

Heroes is one of the few new shows that I actually try not to miss every single week. I just hope the powers that be will not leave us hanging as to the outcome. Last year I faithfully watched Surface and Invasion only to be left up in the air when both were cancelled. Not enough sci-fi buffs like me out there I guess.

Fleur_de_lis - I'm still in mourning over Invasion. I actually wrote letters and called ABC. The ratings are pretty good for Heroes and were improving (didn't check this week) so I'm hopeful this show will stick around, plus there isn't just one big bad or story question or thing that if it got answered/resolved the show would be over. There's always another evil to take over so the Heroes would have some thing to do season after season.
