I know this sounds bad, but we forgot what the sangurite website was. After all those LONG hours, you would think we would never forget!

    Happy Hunter,

I am sure with enough distaste for Sanger, initiative toward good, and complete devotion, you will remember the website.

we did not get this email or any.

Neither did we.  Are you going to Boston?

B8 is trying to give you a hint here.  The key words are "sanger" and "initiative".  Try a bit of googling.

Hi there - are we all ready for a new hunt?!! ;-)

I  went to the SI website but I can't remember the user ID. I know the password though. Can someone help me out with the User ID? You can PM me. I seem to remember it's a bunch of numbers, but I don't remember what they are.

Thanks. You guys are the best!

    User ID?

    Where?

I know the Sanger site, but I don't see any place to enter IDs and passwords.

Am I missing out on some site? From JT,  I remember Boudinot, U of R, and this Sanger.

Note: We only did Phase 1 of Jamestown; we got stuck on Phase 2 and never finished it.

The only sites that had passwords were Boudinot and University of Ronoake.

    Re: Doug's Blog

Well....there is a website, within a website.  Not one of those two you mentioned in your last post.  During the second phase, we learned about it, and it was used then.  We'll see what happens this time around.

    Re: Doug's Blog

It's the Sanger site.  Look for a hidden link that leads to another login.

(or if you know your way around HTML, check the source code for any out of the ordinary anchor tags.  That's how I found it during the hunt).

    Re: Doug's Blog

Thank you Willi! I have the site.

Are the user/password found within the Sanger site? Or were they given in Boudinot/UoR? If they were, I am afraid we cannot have them. We got stuck on a certain picture of a grave in Phase 2 and were unable to go on.

Negative.  Hints for the username/password were given on the now extinct secret website (boudinotagency.com).  There are 2 user accounts that you can use to login - only one was hinted about via the hunt.  The other can only be discovered with lucky guessing, or by using a Flash decompiler and looking at the actionscript code.

Here's a direct quote from the boudinotagency (good thing we printed it out!)  Smile

...[Ishmael] authorized me to use his personal account for research purposes.  He said that my associates could access it as well.  He indicated that I should type in his name I.M. Truman for an ID.  For his password he just said, "Think Moby ***."

PM me if you want the answer, or the 2nd user account info (which is supposedly an admin account).
