Can't let this one go without at least one post.
Back in the 70's I used to frequent the jazz clubs in Georgetown (D.C.). Those small cramped clubs with all that great music.I guess you could call what I listened to was Jazz Fusion. Kinda the Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter sort of thing. Is there anyone out there that does NOT like the sax?
I would have to vote on Miles Davis and Chick Corea as my two favs in the jazz, bluzy, fusion genre.
Miles Davis has influenced many acts like Sly and the Family Stone, Hendrix and James Brown. Where Corea probably influenced acts like Herbie Hancock. Either way you cut it BOTH are very easy to listen to as well as all whom they influenced.
Nature gives you the face you have at 20; it is up to you to inherit the face you have at 50.
