    .

#5 requires looking into a mirror.

#5 I would advise against using a mirror. I tried looking at the letters as they appear backwards/upsidedown in the mirror and got jibberish. It almost looked french..Tongue Tied
All it requires is reverse thinking.

I am now however stuck on #2.
a hint or a push in the right direction would be appreciated. I'm getting a little dizzy

Isn't that what you end up doing when you look at text in a mirror? When you do "mirror writing", you write backwards.

#2 - Take a sliver and move it into the track, while keeping an eye open to the upper left.

#5 I took it too literal, used a mirror and when the smaller letters were mirrored upside-down, it made out a different set of letters due to the style of font.. so I thought I had something.

Yes, it is. Did you find the number on the wall, in the pattern? Same number as in your "avatar".

Not sure if you guys have noticed, but if you go to www.doritosthequest.com there is a trailer for the videos that are soon to come. Also, if you finish watching the trailer, skip the intro, and solve the MOUNTAINDEW cryptex, the piece of paper that shows up will display the winner of the Las Vegas event.

    thanks for the heads up.

did you see the Cryptex(R) they were using.  it's made from the same guy I was posting about earlier in this thread.  what a surprise. as you can see about halfway into the vid the contestant sitting down is trying to crack a cryptex with QUEST stamped on the end.

finally purchased one as a collector's piece and could choose what I wanted stamped on the end of mine.  actually going to a reunion with other treasure hunters and will prob use it for a physical hunt.   got it over a week ago and these things are really unique and elegant.  has anyone else ordered one yet.

Congrats John!  Man, it looks like you guys had some pretty intense challenges. Can't wait to watch the entire challenge! lol, and I'm not sure which face was which finalist, but the one of you who said, "In the mental game I really like my chances. If it turns physical, then it may be a bit of a problem for me."  then we see some running through desert, rockclimbing, jumping off a boat at high speeds....   made me laugh so hard!  Congrats to all 3 of you though. I wouldn't have stood a chance against any of you.

    Here's to you fellas!
