Looking for Additional Writers and editers

We are a fairly new site that is quickly making a splash in the gaming news realm. We are looking for qualified individuals who would be an asset to our current, robust writing staff. No experience is necessary, only a talent within the field of writing and the desire to gain experience that will help you later in life as you may pursue a career in this rigorous field. At the moment, all positions with in our growing community are unpaid and volunteer based, however we are working on something so that in the future we may be able to compensate our team through gaming paraphernalia.

Current openings include Lead Xbox 360 Writer, Lead Ps3 Writer, Lead Wii Writer, as well as a few Junior Writer positions within each of those platforms. We also are in need a few Content editors for each platform.

Compensation: Assumed Volunteer

Where’s Cain?

For those of you who don’t already know, I’ve been extremely busy due to a new site I am helping to start up, www.myarcadeplanet.com . This site aims to bring the latest gaming information and a great community of gamers together creating “The ultimate hang out spot”. We are working diligently to have a constant stream of content flowing into the site. To do that, we are looking to expand our team.

We are looking for some additional staff for the site. We need some additional writers and editors. To be considered you will have to have a quick interview with me. Previous experience is helpful but unnecessary. However, we will request some previously written work. We also need some graphic design staff. A portfolio of work you can show us is necessary for this.

Contact me for more info.

Halo 2 Glitches - You can win a Wii

Halo 2 Glitches – Midship and Lockout Superjumps

You probably won’t see anybody doing these superjumps in a matchmaking game, and the reason is that they aren’t really useful. But if you are one of those people that likes to start a custom game just for glitching, these superjumps can be pretty fun.

Midship Superjump

   1. Go to the top floor (where the flag spawns) of either base, both bases work for the superjump.
   2. Look towards the airlift, and the hole that lets you drop down to the lower level. Next to the hole is kind of a pillar. Hold crouch and walk into the wall and the pillar.
   3. Keep holding forward and crouch. Then stop crouching but continue to hold forward. You should stay crouched because of the angle of the wall.
   4. Now turn around and run to the front of the base. You need to jump off the ledge and land in the middle. You have to land on that little raised surface around the “bowl” in the middle.
   5. When you land make sure you are not holding forward or pressing any buttons. Once you get launched, hold forward and you can land on the top middle platform.

Lockout Superjump

   1. Go to second level of the sniper tower. Jump onto the corner of the top of the ramp.
   2. Crouch and hold forward, walking into the stone wall.
   3. Keep holding forward and crouch. Then stop crouching but continue to hold forward. You should stay crouched because of the angle of the wall.
   4. Stop holding forward, and then jump backwards. Turn and look down the ramp. Run and jump, and land on the flat part of the railing at the bottom of the ramp.
   5. When you land you need to keep holding forward, otherwise the superjump won’t work. You will get launched really high, so it is kind of hard to control where you land, but try to land on the elbow (the ramp below the airlift).
