The BEST top three I've seen in a long time
15 May 07 08:00 PM | Zach | 1 comment(s)
From millions to just three left. Your Idol will be crowned next week!!! Tonight, each contestant will sing 3 songs: one picked by the judges, one picked by the producers and one picked by them. Each contestant has 3 numbers that you can call. I will add them to the list below. HOWEVER, there isn’t three numbers for text voting. The number that is in bold is there texting number. Also note that the “Last week” vote is based on the last weeks Last Song which was the second song they chose. I have decided that this season I will watch the show and judge without the input of the judges. I mute them while I type my results. Then I replayed the results during breaks and said who I agreed with. Honestly!! These performances are in order so if you are still up until 1:00 AM EST tonight, you can still call in! Remember the number is 1-866-IDOLS(43657)-(their two digits eg. 01 or 12) OR if you have a AT&T (The new Cingular) Wireless phone, you can text the word VOTE to 57(their two digits)...

I received a press release about a concert this summer for those in TN and it related to Idol so... At the Tennessee Theatre on Sunday August 12 at 8 pm, Clay Aiken will be performing with a full symphony orchestra. In support of his 2006 release, A Thousand Different Ways , pop idol Clay Aiken makes his Knoxville debut at the historic Tennessee Theatre this summer, performing with a full symphony orchestra. The disc and Aiken 's live show include his impassioned performances of cover songs from many eras, featuring Harry Nillson's "Without You," the Bad English hit "When I See You Smile," and the Foreigner classic "I Want to Know What Love Is," Bryan Adams's "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)," Paul Young's "Everytime You Go Away" and Dolly Parton's "Here You Come Again." TN viewers, support this previous Idol runner up and check out his concert. Also, if you do go, send along some pictures, love to see em!!!

Idol last night...

I wrote a post! I swear!! I went to take the trash out right after Idol last night, came back in and my computer was restarting!!! Maybe it was telling me that I wasn't trying hard enough or something. That post wasn't the only thing that I lost though... Here is a post that I found online about last nights show. I will also be posting the Idol concert tour in a bit... Feisty LaKisha Jones - the only American Idol contestant to plant a big wet kiss on Simon Cowell - was cast off the competition, leaving only Blake Lewis, Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle. Jones, 27, added a funky edge to "Staying Alive," but didn't impress the judges. "You tried to do too much with it," said Randy. "Taking the tempo down...brought the mood down," said Paula. Her second song, "Run To Me," got a slightly better reception. "You're still a champ," said Paula. "Better than the first song," said Simon. This week, the final four contestants each sang two songs with the help of Bee Gees' member and successful...

Well, we lost 2 this week bringing us down to 4. Who will go home tomorrow? Each contestant has 2 numbers that you can call. I will add them to the list below. HOWEVER, there isn’t two numbers for text voting. The number that is in bold is there texting number. I have decided that this season I will watch the show and judge without the input of the judges. I mute them while I type my results. Then I replayed the results during breaks and said who I agreed with. Honestly!! ((OK now I really feel like Ryan)) 01 , 05. Melinda Doolittle sang Love You Inside Out by the Bee Gees. How I think they did: It was good. She never has vocal problems. She needs to wow. I agree with Randy on replay. My Order (This...

From 6 to 4.... Who's doing math at Idol?

Tonight’s post is going to be short and sweet. Working on a few projects around here. They did the recap and all the quick stuff. Went out and talked to the watchers of the show. Then announced that the Idol Gives Back lines were still open using Ruben Studdard. Next up was the recap of last weeks Charity event. Then Robin Thick or someone sang. No Idea who that is. Cant sing very well either. When we returned, we saw the ford music video. Melinda, Phil and LaKisha were put into a group. Melinda is safe. LaKisha is safe and Phil is going home. Jordin, Blake and Chris were put into another group. Jordin was just told to sit down, she was put through too much last week. Bon Jovi sang to break things up. After another break, Chris finally went home. I got 2 for 2 last night!

Two people go home? But, but, why? Sanjaya isn’t there. They could be nice! Maybe they will be. I don’t know anymore! An Idol Gives Back update: $70 Million!!! And counting. Also a reminder, last weeks votes will be combined to this weeks votes to eliminate 2 people… Tonight, they sing Bon Jovi songs. They also have two numbers each, which can be seen by their names. Each contestant has 2 numbers that you can call. I will add them to the list below. HOWEVER, there isn’t two numbers for text voting. The number that is in bold is there texting number. I also want to say that we have been experiencing power outages and cable outages all evening so I might lose the feeds from the show… If that happens, I will pull out my 2-inch TV but I cant promise anything. I have decided that this season I will watch the show and judge without the input of the judges. I mute them while I type my results. Then I replayed the results during breaks and said who I agreed with. Honestly!! These performances...

Well, we’re down to 6! It’s getting too close for bad singers so its time to get rid of Phil… I heard he had a record deal already. No idea who would give him a record deal… someone who’s crazy I guess. Tonight’s country night, enjoy country songs by good singers that don’t sing country. Celebrity guest is Martine McBride. I have decided that this season I will watch the show and judge without the input of the judges. I mute them while I type my results. Then I replayed the results during breaks and said who I agreed with. Honestly!! These performances are in order so if you are still up until 12:00 PM EST tonight, you can still call in! I had no idea that tonight’s show was an hour long. I didn’t realize that ‘Til Death was an hour as well. At least everything won’t be rushed now. The Idol’s kicked off the show singing Ala Mode or something. After the break, we got today’s Idol question. I think its B but I am not sure for once. After that, we got to watch Ryan go out and ask people what they thought of last nights show. Then Akon sang the song Don’t Matter which is number 1 on the Billboard Charts. When we returned, they talked more about Idol Gives Back which is turning out to be amazing. Maybe we at Steeple Media could contribute as well… Any thoughts? Next is eliminations… just another break in the way. Phil is in the bottom three. LaKisha is safe. Jordin is safe. Melinda is safe. Hailey is in the bottom three. Blake is safe. Chris is in the bottom three which means Sanjaya is safe yet again. Well, I have to go take the trash out… No point in watching now.
