8-31 Dish: Hrm... Nothing happened this weekend huh?
31 August 09 05:21 AM | Zach | with no comments

This AM I was checking out my internet sources for celeb gossip and it appears that nothing happened this weekend... More information about DJ AM, I think that happened Saturday so I can report on that... More info about Michael Jackson... not worth a slot in this post I'm afraid... Other than that, it was a boring weekend in the Hills...

My weekend wasn't bad Smile. We spend Sunday celebrating my grandpa's 79th birthday. And last night I spent a few hours designing a new z-toc.com... Just in photoshop but I plan on changing it up asap! I'm tired of what I'm using now... lol...

DJ AM found dead in New York Appartment...
NEW YORK (Reuters) - DJ AM, the stage name of disc jockey Adam Goldstein whose music could be heard on albums by Madonna and Will Smith, was found dead in his New York apartment on Friday, police said. He was 36.

Police said no foul play was suspected in the death of Goldstein, who socialized with Hollywood celebrities and in 2008 survived a plane crash with Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker.

Media reports said Goldstein was found with prescription pill bottles near his body after he had not been heard from for days.

As a DJ, his work appeared on albums by Madonna, Will Smith, Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds and Papa Roach. He performed at clubs in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and elsewhere.

With the band Crazy Town, Goldstein had the 2001 hit song "Butterfly" but the group broke up two years later.

He partnered with Barker of punk band Blink 182 last year to create a live DJ and drum performance and the duo played occasionally at clubs and other concert venues.

In September 2008, Goldstein and Barker were in a private plane that crashed while taking off from an airport in South Carolina. The two pilots and two passengers were killed.

Goldstein and Barker suffered serious burns and were hospitalized in critical condition.

Goldstein posted his last known public remarks on the social networking website Twitter on Tuesday when he wrote: "New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems."

The words were lyrics from a song by Grandmaster Flash, a pioneer of hip-hop music.

Goldstein dated reality TV star Nicole Richie, to whom he was at one point engaged, and later went out with singer and actress Mandy Moore.

Security forces Britney fans to leave for 'provocative dancing'...
lol
Security guards at Britney Spears' New York show sparked outrage among concertgoers - after escorting fans from their seats for dancing "too provocatively."
The singer, known for her suggestive lyrics and sexually-charged stage routines, played to a packed house at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday as part of her ongoing Circus tour.
Security staff sparked controversy after escorting ticket-holders from their seats and forcing them to miss part of the show to chastise their dance moves.
I have to send a few messages to a few people that were at the concert... I'm going to crack up if it was then...

8-26 Dish: Chris Brown Sentenced
26 August 09 05:18 AM | Zach | with no comments

Man, I am tired today... Tuesdays are going to be terribly long... I have 15 more to go... I'm basically in class from 7:45 to 4:45... Needless to say, Tuesdays are my least favorite...

Chris Brown Sentenced...
The judge threatened Brown by talking about the "chatter" she hears.
Judge Patricia Schnegg said during the sentencing, "I am not immune to the chatter on the airwaves." It's unclear if she was saying that she's heard reports that Brown and Rihanna are still talking ... or if she was just saying he needs to be careful because she watches TV and reads TMZ.
The judge sentenced Brown to perform hard labor at the Commonwealth Catholic Charities in Richmond, VA, where he must also take a 52-week domestic violence course.
The judge ruled Brown -- who pleaded guilty to felony assault -- must stay 100 yards away from Rihanna, unless they are both at an entertainment-related event, in which case he must stay 10 yards away. The protective order lasts 5 years.

8-25 Dish: BREAKING NEWS! What scene will the Finale Harry Potter Movie start at?
25 August 09 05:05 AM | Zach | with no comments

Ok yeah, wording is a bit off on that title... Anyway, I found an article this morning confirming where the final two movies will split off at! I have to admit, I really need to reread the book because I dont remember this part mostly! (Yeah yeah, there's a lot of college carp going into this brain now! Cut me some slack will ya?)

BREAKING NEWS! Hot Goss From the Set of 'Deathly Hallows'...
'Harry Potter’ actor Joshua Herdman has shed a big secret about the last-ever Harry Potter movie,’Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows’.
We’ve long known that the film version of the final book is to be split into two tantalizing parts, but until now we didn’t have a Scooby-Doo about how the first half would end and the second begin.
So, if you’re not up for a spoiler, look away now.
Joshua, who plays Gregory Goyle, revealed: "Part one of ‘Deathly Hallows’ will close right afterHarry, Ron and Hermione are captured by the Snatchers. Part two will open as the trio and their captors arrive at Malfoy Manor."
Dramarama!
Meanwhile, some sensational classified information has also leaked from camp ’Twilight’.
Newbie actor BooBoo Stewart - that's right, it's not a typo - let slip in an interview that, like the Potter movies, the final novel in the 'Twilight' series will also be made into two films.

Oh brother, Twilight is not my thing... now they are just being copycats....See I told you Harry Potter was better!

Slain model's ex is happy Jenkins is dead...
Do I smell a murder? Jasmine Fiore's former boyfriend said he is happy the slain model's husband, Canadian reality TV personality Ryan Jenkins, is dead.

Eeek, sorry if you were eating breakfast...

Aerosmith breakup rumors on the rise...
A string of health setbacks and rumored internal bickering is fueling speculation that rock band Aerosmith is breaking up, observers say.
The appearance of a fan video showing vocalist Steven Tyler, who broke his shoulder from a fall from a stage this month, looking frail as he shopped at a Pembroke, Mass., liquor store is making fans wonder if the end is near for the legendary group, The Boston Globe reported Sunday.
In addition to Tyler's Aug. 5 fall in Sturges, S.D., he also hurt his leg at show earlier this summer, causing seven dates to be canceled. Guitarist Brad Whitford hit his head getting out of a car, forcing him to miss the band's first shows in June, and bassist Tom Hamilton, a throat cancer survivor, skipped shows due to an unspecified medical treatment, the newspaper noted.

8-24 Dish: Ryan Jenkins found dead
24 August 09 05:21 AM | Zach | with no comments

Well, the day has come! It's time to get on that school bus and get to school today Wink Not really but I do start my 4th semester of college today. (If your wondering, I took summer classes as well).

The past few weeks I've actually been "on break" still working, but no class work to do and I've become a YouTube hog... I've watched so many videos on there, it's crazy. Not random ones tho, I've been watching the elite 100's videos. (The YouTubers who have the most subscribers, the top 100 of them) which leads me to possibly start VLoging (Video Blogging) I just need to get a new camera first lol... I'll probably end up getting one today so VLoging is my other excuse to why I need one.

Anyway, time for The Dish!

Ryan Jenkins Found Dead...

California prosecutors announced Thursday murder charges had been filed against the fugitive reality-television contestant in the death of his wife.

Jenkins, a native of Calgary, had been sought by Buena Park police since his wife, Jasmine Fiore, 28, was found strangled and stuffed in a suitcase discovered in a trash bin last weekend.

"Twilight" Author Sued for Copyright Infringement...

(cough cough) good (hack)

Reuters-

A woman who wrote an obscure vampire book as a teenager has sued "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, accusing her of stealing ideas from the work for the fourth book in her vampire series, "Breaking Dawn."

Meyer's publisher responded that the lawsuit, filed on Wednesday in federal court in California, is a meritless claim meant to further the career of the aspiring screenwriter making the complaint.

Jordan Scott's lawsuit accuses Meyer of copyright infringement and argues that, as Scott wrote her vampire novel "The Nocturne," she posted passages online, and that Meyer stole ideas from Scott's work for her own book.

"The Nocturne" and "Breaking Dawn," which was published in 2008, show similarities in language, plot lines, characters and other points, Scott's lawsuit stated. For instance, the lawsuit said both books contain a wedding passage and an after-wedding scene of sex on the beach.

Hachette Book Group, Meyer's publisher, said the "alleged similarities" are "wholly lacking in substance," and Meyer based "Breaking Dawn" on an earlier, unpublished sequel to "Twilight" that she wrote.

Hachette called the suit a "publicity stunt to further Ms. Scott's career," and said it expected the court would dismiss it.

Meyer's "Breaking Dawn" is the fourth book in the "Twilight" series, which has sold more than 70 million copies worldwide and become the basis of a Hollywood movie series.

The first film, "Twilight," earned more than $380 million at worldwide box offices and the second, "New Moon," hits theaters in November. The books and movies are about a girl named Bella Swan, who has a star-crossed love affair with dangerous but handsome vampire Edward Cullen.

Scott's book "The Nocturne," which she started writing at age 15 in 2003, had an initial printing of 5,000 books and is about to go into a second printing, according to her lawsuit.

REPORT: Abdul not returning to 'Idol' (really this time)...

Negotiations between "American Idol" producers and former judge Paula Abdul have broken down, a source told the New York Post.

Both parties recently announced Abdul would not be returning to the singing competition series next season because a deal could not be reached.

Rumors subsequently started swirling that the two sides had resumed talks in an effort to get Abdul back in the judge's chair.

However, Abdul posted a message on her Twitter page Tuesday night, saying, "With sadness in my heart, I've decided not to re turn."

That's going to make watching next season hard...

21 August 09 08:39 AM | Zach | 3 comment(s)

Well, I had a decent summer, even though I took classes the entire time which took up more time than I thought it would.

I also was (still am actually) working on a website for someone, you can check it out if you want at www.z-toc.com/tkd. They like it, I like it, good enough for me right?

I've also thrown around the idea of a better site design for my website... I'm bored with it... I need to think of something more modern...

I dont have any dish for ya at the moment but Monday, I should be back in full swing on this blog and gadget.X with some great stuff :)

Have a nice weekend all!
