Stars Flock to Newman Tribute...
Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks will be among the A-list stars who will pay tribute to movie legend Paul Newman at a benefit gala for the late actor's California kids camp The Painted Turtle.
Sean Penn, Jack Nicholson, Bruce Willis, Danny Devito, Warren Beatty, Annette Bening and Billy Crystal will also take the stage at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, California on October 27.
The stars will perform a stage reading of The World of Nick Adams, an adaptation of a number of Ernest Hemingway's autobiographical stories, written by Newman's longtime pal A.E. Hotchner.

Janet Jackson Rushed to Hospital Before Show...
Janet Jackson has been rushed to hospital after falling ill just hours before she was due to perform a concert in Montreal, Canada.
The R&B superstar was forced to cancel her show in the city on Monday night after she "got suddenly ill" during a sound check.
Jackson was taken straight to hospital just before she was set to take to the stage as part of her Rock Witchu tour - her first in seven years.

Spears' Lawyer Asks Judge to Delay Driving License Case for Second time...
Britney Spears' lawyer has asked a judge overseeing the star's ongoing illegal driving case to delay the upcoming trial - for a second time.
Spears' lawyer J. Michael Flanagan was granted an extension to work on the case in January and was due back in Los Angeles Superior Court for a hearing the following month.
Judge T.K. Herman then issued the renewed trial date earlier this month, calling on the "Toxic" hitmaker to reappear in court on October 15.

Quaid Launches Scathing Attack On Ex-wife Ryan...
Dennis Quaid has slammed his ex-wife Meg Ryan for revealing all about their 2000 marriage break-up, insisting her allegations of his infidelity will only cause their son Jack more "pain" and "turmoil".
Ryan and Quaid have refused to divulge the details of their split for the past eight years, but the actress once dubbed 'America's sweetheart' recently opened up about the dark days that followed her divorce.
She told InStyle magazine, "Dennis was not faithful to me for a very long time, and that was very painful. I found out more about that after I was divorced."

Travis Barker Released from Hospital...
Travis Barker has been released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia, People.com reports.
"Travis is in good condition and was discharged this morning," Burn Center spokesperson Beth Frits tells People.com "He has left Augusta."
Barker is reportedly headed back home to California. "He's on a bus headed to L.A." a source tells the site. "Trust me, he will never fly again – ever."
The musician was admitted to the hospital after the Learjet 60 he and DJ AM were on crashed, killing the other four passengers.

Beckham Booked For Children's Tales...
Sports icon David Beckham is set to launch a series of books for kids - but won't be writing them himself.
The devoted dad of three will lend his name to the range of novels, which are all set at his soccer academies in London and his adopted home of Los Angeles.
The first children's tale, which will be penned by a ghost writer, is due to hit stores worldwide next year.
A spokesperson for the star says, "David is pleased the Academy has inspired a series of books that will bring children to reading through football."

Shields Shocks With Taxi Cab Confession...
Brooke Shields stunned America when she swore during a live TV show on Friday night.
The actress was promoting TV show Lipstick Jungle on Conan O'Brien's Late Night show when she lost her cool while recalling a row she had with a taxi driver.
Shields explained her cab driver couldn't understand where she wanted to go as she was rushing to get to a recent New York function, and when she tried to show him the address on her iPhone, the man kicked her out of his taxi.
She explained, "He shoved my hand back and said, 'You get outta my cab, you f***ing crazy person.'"

Britney Calls 'Womanizer' an 'Empowering' Song...
The princess of pop is back, folks.
Mere weeks after winning three Moon Men at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards for her video for "Piece of Me," Britney Spears' dance-tinged new single, "Womanizer," debuted on New York radio station Z100 on Friday, and it seems she's not only coming back - she's doing it with a vengeance.
In the song, Britney lashes out at a player who can't stick with one girl, singing, "Say it, play it how you wanna... But no way I’m ever gonna fall for you, never you, baby."
And speaking on the air on New York's Z100 on Monday, Spears said, "I like the fact that it's so empowering for girls. It's basically saying know what you're up to. It's about guys cheating on girls. It's a girl anthem. That's why I like it."
And the star - who recently shot a video for the new song - said she was a bit surprised by her success at the VMAs this year.
"It's a cool video, but I've done videos that are way better, so I was really shocked that ['Piece of Me'] got the award. It was inspiring, though, because now, going forward with the videos that I'm doing now, I can really go there and do something crazy and see what happens."

"Womanizer" is the first single off of Britney's upcoming album, Circus, slated to hit stores on December 2.

THIS IS CALLED "FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY'...

OKAY YOU ECONOMISTS, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS PROPOSAL!!!

I'm against the $85,000,000,000.00 bailout of AIG.
Instead, I'm in favor of giving $85,000,000,000 to America in a We Deserve
It Dividend.

To make the math simple, let's assume there are 200,000,000 bonafide
Citizens 18+.

Our population is about 301,000,000 +/- counting every man, woman and
child. So 200,000,000 might be a fair stab at adults 18 and up..

So divide 200 million adults 18+ into $85 billion that equals $425,000.00.

My plan is to give $425,000 to every person 18+ as a We Deserve It
Dividend.


Of course, it would NOT be tax free.
So let's assume a tax rate of 30%.

Every individual 18+ has to pay $127,500.00 in taxes.
That sends $25,500,000,000 right back to Uncle Sam.

But it means that every adult 18+ has $297,500.00 in their pocket.

A husband and wife has $595,000.00.

What would you do with $297,500.00 to $595,000.00 in your family?

Pay off your mortgage - housing crisis solved.

Repay college loans - what a great boost to new grads

Put away money for college - it'll be there

Save in a bank - create money to loan to entrepreneurs.

Buy a new car - create jobs

Invest in the market - capital drives growth

Pay for your parent's medical insurance - health care improves

Enable Deadbeat Dads to come clean - or else

Remember this is for every adult U S Citizen 18+ including the folks who
lost their jobs at Lehman Brothers and every other company that is cutting
back. And of course, for those serving in our Armed Forces.

If we're going to re-distribute wealth let's really do it...instead of
trickling out a puny $1000.00 ( 'vote buy' ) economic incentive that is
being proposed by one of our candidates for President.

If we're going to do an $85 billion bailout, let's bail out every adult U S
Citizen 18+!

As for AIG - liquidate it.

Sell off its parts.

Let American General go back to being American General.

Sell off the real estate.

Let the private sector bargain hunters cut it up and clean it up.

Here's my rationale. We deserve it and AIG doesn't.

Sure it's a crazy idea that can 'never work.'

But can you imagine the Coast-To-Coast Block Party!

How do you spell Economic Boom?

I trust my fellow adult Americans to know how to use the $85 Billion

We Deserve It Dividend more than I do the geniuses at AIG or in Washington
DC .

And remember, this plan only really costs $59.5 Billion because
$25.5 Billion is returned instantly in taxes to Uncle Sam.

Shia LaBeouf Won't Be Charged with DUI...
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office won't charge actor Shia LaBeouf with driving under the influence due to insufficient evidence, TMZ said.
LaBeouf, 22, was arrested for suspicion of DUI following a July 27 car accident that injured his hand so badly he needed surgery. Police have since said the other motorist involved in the crash was to blame for the collision because he or she ran a red light.
TMZ said the "Eagle Eye," "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" and "Transformers" star is expected to have his driver's license suspended because he refused to submit to a blood alcohol test in connection with the case.

Lopez and Gossellar Reunite Onscreen...
Mario Lopez is to be reunited with his Saved by the Bell co-star Mark-Paul Gosselaar for a one-off reunion of the TV show.
Lopez - who hosts Warner Bros entertainment show Extra - has invited Gosselaar, who played Zach Morris in the hit show, to join him in a 20th anniversary special.
And Gosselaar reveals he still watches re-runs of the show with his son and wife.
He says, "We never thought the show was going to get picked up... it's cool now to watch Saved By The Bell. It's become an icon."
The Extra TV special will air in the on Friday.

Lohan's Little Sister in Talks with Timberlake Manager...
Lindsay Lohan's younger sister Ali's stalled pop career may have been saved - she is in talks with the manager of The Jonas Brothers and Justin Timberlake.
The 14-year-old hit the Billboard chart with her first track, "All The Way Around," from her debut LP earlier this year, but it failed to prove a hit, falling off the chart shortly after.
And despite promoting her music through her reality TV show Living Lohan, the singer/actress has failed to set the charts alight since the first release.

Depp Set for Fourth 'Pirates' Voyage...

LOS ANGELES, September 25 (UPI) -- Hollywood actor Johnny Depp has signed on to star in a fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise, Disney announced.
Depp played the quirky buccaneer Captain Jack Sparrow in the first three Piratespictures, which were produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and which reportedly have earned the studio $2.6 billion at the box office.
Variety.com said Disney has also signed Depp to play Tonto in The Lone Ranger, as well as the Mad Hatter in Tim Burton's imagining of Alice in Wonderland.
The casting decisions were made Wednesday at the Kodak Theater where Walt Disney Studios chairman *** Cook unveiled the studio's upcoming slate of projects during an event for thousands of exhibitors, media and other industry insiders.
It was also announced the sequel to Disney-Pixar's Cars will be released a year earlier than planned and is now scheduled to hit theaters in the summer of 2011, and that Oprah Winfrey will lend her voice to a character in the animated film The Princess and the Frog, Variety.com said.
In addition, Bruckheimer and actor Nicolas Cage announced they will be reuniting for a third National Treasure flick.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have taken their relationship to the next level - they are househunting together in New York.
The couple has been touring condominiums in the Big Apple, where they have reportedly expressed interest in buying a home.
According to the New York Post, Biel and Timberlake are "quite impressed" with a $2.9 million duplex in Manhattan's Chelsea district.

Meester More Tolerant After Mother's Prison Sentence...
Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has broken her silence since revealing she was born in a halfway house while her mother served prison time - insisting the experience has made her more 'open-minded.'
The actress admitted earlier this month she was born in a halfway house in between her mother's federal prison stays, following a conviction for her involvement with a drug ring that smuggled shipments of marijuana into the United States from Jamaica.
Meester was raised by a relative while her mother completed her sentence. She was released in 1986 after serving 16 months of a 10 year sentence.

(UPI) – Pop star Clay Aiken says he told his mother four years ago that he is gay. Aiken publicly confirmed his sexual orientation for the first time in this week's issue of People magazine, which features the quote, "Yes, I'm gay," on its cover, along with a photo of Aiken holding his son, Parker, who was born last month. Although the issue doesn't hit newsstands until Friday, People ran an excerpt on its Web site Wednesday.
The 29-year-old former American Idol star also confirmed speculation that his child was conceived via in vitro fertilization with his best friend, music producer Jaymes Foster.
"It was the first decision I made as a father," Aiken told People about coming out as a homosexual. "I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things. I wasn't raised that way and I'm not going to raise a child to do that."
Aiken said his son would be brought up in an environment that is "accepting and allowing him to be happy."
He also revealed he told his mother Faye he is gay about four years ago when they were dropping his younger brother, Brett, at Camp Lejeune, N.C., to be deployed to Iraq.
"I just started bawling. She made me pull over the car and it just came out," he recalled. "She started crying. She was obviously somewhat stunned. But she was very supportive and very comforting. ... She still struggles with things quite a bit but she's come a long way."

How's this for gossip: Drew Barrymore and Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick were spotted "in a full-on make-out session" at the Kings of Leon concert in NYC on Tuesday, reports Usmagazine.com.
Initial blog reports indicated that Barrymore was locking lips with Gossip's Chace Crawford.
But this isn't the first time Barrymore, 33, and Westwick, 21, have smooched. According to Usmagazine.com, the two hooked up last weekend at a Saturday Night Live after-party in NYC.

Britney Spears reportedly is selling her 7,500-square-foot Studio City, California, home for $7.9 million with the idea of heading somewhere with more privacy.
People.com reported the real estate listing described the hilltop property as an "exquisite gated Italian Renaissance-inspired villa" with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, three garages and a "grand entrance foyer."
The 26-year-old recording artist, who recently won a trio of MTV Video Music Awards, has called the mansion home for less than two years.

Keanu Reeves has been cleared of assault and battery after a paparazzo charged him with trying to run her over with his car.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth A. Grimes ruled that snapper Alison Silva cannot seek punitive damages against the movie hunk, despite claiming Reeves' Porsche struck him in March 2007.
Reeves' attorneys argued in court documents that Silva placed her hand on the actor's car and tripped over it, while trying to take candid shots of their client.

Charlie Sheen's Pregnant Wife Has Surgery...
Brooke Mueller, the pregnant wife of Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen, has undergone emergency gall-bladder surgery, sources told E! News.
Mueller, who is in the first trimester of her pregnancy, was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles a little more than a week ago, the entertainment news Web site said.

Mandy Moore was spotted at the Joseph Still Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia on Sunday, visiting her ex DJ AM as he recovers from second and third degree burns he suffered in a Learjet crash this weekend.
Jermaine Dupri also paid a visit to Travis Barker, who is also suffering burn wounds from the crash.
"It's a seriously sad situation," Dupri tells Usmagazine.com. "He's doing good... but I really hate to see my friends go through this."

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman gave sports fans a shock when she graced the stands of a soccer match in the U.K. on Sunday.
The Aussie superstar and country singer husband Keith Urban watched the game between big-time British soccer clubs Chelsea and Manchester United - cheering on both sides as they battled it out in a 1-1 draw.
The star laughed with fellow soccer fans as they cheered on their sporting icons in a VIP box at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge stadium in London.

Magician Blaine Begins Upside Down Stunt...
NEW YORK, September 22 (UPI) -- Illusionist David Blaine has begun his latest endurance challenge -- hanging upside down for 60 hours above Central Park's Wollman skating rink in New York.
Blaine will attempt to complete his "Upside Down Man" challenge without a safety net. He started his ordeal Monday morning and is scheduled to end the feat Wednesday at 10:45 p.m. EST. with a "heart-stopping plunge," his representatives said, adding Blaine will attempt to speak with media throughout the challenge.
Blaine previously has spent 63 hours enclosed in a block of ice in New York and 44 days in a glass cube dangling over the River Thames in London with no food.

Police in Louisiana are hunting a store worker who has allegedly tried to sell private photographs from the Spears family album.
According to celebrity website TMZ.com, snaps of new mom Jamie Lynn-Spears breast feeding her three-month old daughter Maddie have been offered to the media.
The collection of photographs also includes older sister Britney holding her niece alongside her parents around Jamie Lynn's hospital bed shortly after the teenager gave birth.
The Web Site reports the photographs were taken on Jamie Lynn's boyfriend Casey Aldridge's camera.
It is believed he took the camera card to a local store, but extra copies were made by an employee.

Parton Reunites with Fonda & Tomlin For 9 To 5 Stage Debut...
Country legend Dolly Parton was joined by her Nine to Five co-stars Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin at the opening night of her stage musical adaptation of the hit movie.
The show opened at Los Angeles' Ahmanson Theater on Saturday and went without a hitch - despite being marred by weeks of technical problems.
At the preview show last week, Parton was forced to take to the stage when a glitch brought the performance to a grinding halt. She thrilled the crowd by singing her classic track "I Will Always Love You" until the show could continue.

Michael Apologizes Over Drug Arrest...
Pop singer George Michael has apologized to fans after he was arrested and cautioned for possession of drugs.
The Careless Whisper hitmaker was detained on Friday in the Hampstead Heath area of north London, close to his home in Highgate.
The singer was questioned at a nearby police station and later released with a caution for possessing class A and class C drugs - cocaine and cannabis.
Now the former Wham! star has said sorry to his fans - and vows to clean up his act.

 Blink-182's Barker Critically Injured in Plane Crash...
Travis Barker, a former Drummer for Blink 182, and DJ AM are in critical condition after the plane they were flying on went off the runway and crashed. Four other people aboard the plane were killed.

According to local news reports, Barker and DJ AM, whose real name Adam Michael Goldstein, were transported to a burn center in Augusta, Georgia where they are listed in critical condition.

Barker performed Friday night at an event with Perry Farrel, Gavin DeGraw, and DJ AM.

The FAA said the plane carrying six people was departing when an air traffic controller reported seeing sparks. The plane went off the runway and crashed on a nearby road.

The plane was going to Van Nuys, CA.

Applegate Returns to Work...
Actress Christina Applegate has returned to work just weeks after undergoing a double mastectomy in a bid to beat breast cancer.
The 36-year-old star had both breasts removed after being diagnosed with cancer in July.
And Applegate - who was given the all-clear following the operation - has returned to the set of comedy TV series Samantha Who?.
A spokesman for the star confirms to People.com that Applegate resumed filming on Monday and is still slated to present at the Primetime Emmy Awards on September 21.

LeBeouf Shocked By CIA Information...
Shia LaBeouf was in for a scare when he started filming new action thriller Eagle Eye - because CIA operatives gave him a taste of what they have on file about him.
The actor thought the film, in which he plays a man who is stalked by invisible special agents, was pure fiction - until he realized operatives have telephone conversations and insider information on all celebrities.

Silverman Says Kimmel Broke Her Heart...
Sarah Silverman said at the "Creative Arts Emmys" presentation in Los Angeles that fellow comedian and former boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel broke her heart.
The couple went their separate ways in July after dating for about five years.

Lopez, McConaughey Finish Triathlon...
Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey, co-stars in the 2001 romantic comedy The Wedding Planner, both competed in a triathlon in California this weekend.
Lopez and McConaughey, who also both became first-time parents with their respective partners this year, finished the Nautica Malibu Triathlon Sunday.
Lopez finished her first triathlon, which was comprised of swimming, biking and running portions, in 2 hours, 23 minutes and 28 seconds, People.com reported. She gave birth to twins in February.

Britney Spears to Release New Album...
Britney Spears announced Monday she plans to release Circus, her sixth studio album, in December.
"Womanizer," her first single off the CD, is to hit radio September 22, Jive/Zomba said in a news release.
The album, which features collaborations with Max Martin, Dr. Luke, Danja, Bloodshy & Avant and Guy Sigsworth, is to drop December 2, Spears's 27th birthday.
Although the singer's career has been overshadowed for some time by her personal troubles and legal battles, she seems poised for a comeback after winning three MTV Video Music Awards last week.

Jennifer Hudson Engaged...
Jennifer Hudson's publicist has confirmed the singer and actress is engaged to her boyfriend of less than a year, reality TV personality David Otunga.
Hudson won an Oscar for her work in the movie musical Dreamgirls. She also had a supporting role in the summer hit film Sex and the City and will soon be seen in The Secret Life of Bees.
E! Online said Otunga is an ex-attorney and 2006 Harvard Law School graduate who was known as "Punk" on the reality television show I Love New York 2."

Tina Fey takes on Sarah Palin...

(UPI) - Tina Fey returned to "Saturday Night Live" for a guest spot, playing Republican U.S. vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin on the show's 34th season premiere.
Fey -- the former head writer on the show and the star of the NBC series, "30 Rock" -- opened the show Saturday night playing Palin in a sketch that also featured her former "Weekend Update" co-anchor Amy Poehler as Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.
In the sketch, Palin (Fey) and Clinton (Poehler) talk about what Fey, as Palin, calls the "very ugly role that sexism is playing in the campaign."
"An issue which I am frankly surprised to hear people suddenly care about," says Poehler as Clinton.
The guest host, Olympic swimming gold medalist Michael Phelps, appeared in a series of comedy sketches, playing himself in some and playing characters in others. In one segment, he was coached in the ways of celebrity endorsement by pitchman and Emmy-winning actor William Shatner.
Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama had planned to make an appearance but canceled late Friday as then-Hurricane Ike approached the Texas Gulf Coast.

 

Longoria Parker Vetoed Mills' Desperate Housewives Role...
Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife Heather Mills was all set to appear in hit U.S. TV show Desperate Housewives - until actress Eva Longoria Parker demanded she be dropped from the cast.
The former glamour model's ex-publicist, Michele Elyzabeth, insists that Mills is "desperate" to make a name for herself in Hollywood and advised her to secure her a role on a high profile TV series.
And Elyzabeth reveals that Mills was close to appearing in Desperate Housewives, until Longoria Parker objected to the decision.

Spears Throws Birthday Party For Sons...
Britney Spears threw a lavish star-studded birthday party for her two sons on Saturday.
The singer's eldest son Sean Preston turned three on Sunday and younger son Jayden James turned two on Friday, so Spears threw a joint part for the pair at her friend Adrienne Maloof-Nassif's house in Beverly Park, Los Angeles.
Guests included singer Gwen Stefani, with her two-year-old son Kingston, and Jim Carrey's girlfriend Jenny McCarthy with her son Evan, six.
Spears' family also joined in the celebrations - sister Jamie Lynn arrived with her newborn daughter Maddie Briann, as well as dad Jamie and mother Lynne.

Today is the day after 9/11... We often talk about where we were ON 9/11 but the days after were just as remember-able. If you wish, comment below what you remember doing the day after 9/11. I remember they canceled school for two reasons, one: so we could spend time with our families and two; some students had friends and family who worked in the World Trade Centers and it would have been devastating for them to have to go to school the next day under those conditions.

Lauren Conrad Signs Three-Book Deal...
Lauren Conrad is going to be an author.
The reality star-turned-fashion designer signed with Harper Collins for three-book series of young adult fiction, People.com reports.
The series, L.A. Candy will be "loosely inspired" by Conrad's life and her experience from going to ordinary teenager to celebrity.
"It's definitely influenced by my own life," Conrad told People.com. "The books are about a girl who moves to L.A. and stars in a reality show, so obviously there are some similarities."

America Ferrera Not a Fan of Gossip Girl or The Hills...
America Ferrera tells the October issue of Seventeen magazine that "close, genuine female relationships are not what generally gets depicted in movies and TV shows."
An example? "Like, if you're watching The Hills or 90210, all the backstabbing shapes the way we act – you go to school, and you think your job is to find a sworn enemy and be jealous of each other."

Actress Tara Reid has denied reports she is set to marry French businessman Julien Jarmoune after a whirlwind romance.
The American Pie star was rumored to be engaged to the fashion executive following a short courtship.
But a spokesperson for the 32-year-old insists the speculation is "not true", adding: "It's just a bunch of lies and rumors."
The representative has confirmed, however, that the two are dating.

De Niro, Pacino Have Fun With Serious Reputations...
Al Pacino and Robert De Niro poked fun at their serious actor reputations on late night TV in America on Thursday night by confessing their love for make-up and Spider-man.
The fun-loving movie greats agreed to be part of chat show king David Letterman's The Late Show top 10 - and they took it in turn to list the reasons they love being an actor.
De Niro quipped, "It's the make-up, I like wearing the make-up," while his Heat co-star Pacino added, "I got to meet Spider-Man."

Pitt Evacuated From Hotel...
Brad Pitt was left on the street in Toronto, Canada as he prepared for his film festival appearance on September 5 - when a fire forced the evacuation of the hotel he was staying in.
The movie star was staying at the Park Hyatt in the city when management decided to ask all guests to leave when a blaze broke out at a condo complex next door.

Hathaway Hands Over Jewels in Follieri Case...
Actress Anne Hathaway was reportedly forced to turn over a trove of expensive jewelery allegedly given to her by ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri after authorities discovered they were purchased illegally.
Follieri, 30, pleaded guilty to 14 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit wire fraud, and money laundering in a Manhattan Federal court on Wednesday.

Winslet To Play Jong's Sex Fantasist...
Kate Winslet has emerged as the favorite to play married poet Isadora Wing in a new movie adaptation of Erica Jong's controversial novel Fear Of Flying.\
Director Diane English, who has adapted the 1973 bestseller for the big screen, has revealed the Titanic star is the only actress currently reading the script for the movie.
She says, "I would love to see Kate Winslet in that role."

Groban to Perform TV Songs at Emmys...
LOS ANGELES, September 11 (UPI) -- Recording artist Josh Groban is to perform a medley of more than 25 of TV's most memorable themes on "The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards" show, ABC said.
The event honoring the year's best in U.S. television is to air Sept. 21 on ABC.
"In honor of the Emmy Awards' 60th anniversary, Josh's medley will touch on some of television's most resonant theme songs -- including (those) from Friends, The Simpsons, The Brady Bunch and many more -- the actual full list of show titles is being kept a secret until the show. This will truly be an unforgettable performance," Emmys Executive Producer Ken Ehrlich said in a statement.

Kanye West Arrested...
Kanye West was arrested at LAX Airport Thursday morning, reports Access Hollywood.
LAX police confirm to the entertainment show that he was arrested at 7:51 AM this morning on charges of battery and vandalism.
People.com has a statement from the LAX police: "Mr. West was arrested at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism," said LAX spokesman Marshall Lowe. "Initial reports say this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000."
"In addition, Mr. West's road manager was arrested for vandalism and battery," Lowe said. "Several witnesses are being interviewed by police. West and his manager are being transported to an LAPD station where they're expected to be booked."
TMZ.com reports that West allegedly smashed a photographer's camera in the American Airlines terminal. A TMZ photographer began filming the incident and when West's road manager grabbed the camera, a struggle followed and his manager threw the camera to the ground.
When West realized the incident was being taped, he yelled "Gimme that f**cking tape!"
Both West and his road manager were arrested.
