I cannot believe all the stories I have today about the new Idol Judge!! There's some other ones too, but mostly about the new judge....

Kara DioGuardiNew Idol Judge: "I Almost Fell Off My Chair"...
New American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi was so surprised to be offered the job that she nearly fell off her chair.
The songwriter was stunned to be given the post, but insists she will add to the chemistry of the TV talent show.
And she is determined to get on with her fellow judges - including Paula Abdul, with whom she collaborated on Kylie Minogue's hit "Spinning Around."
Speaking about the moment she was offered the role, DioGuardi says, "I almost fell off the chair" and adds that she hopes to create "a new chemistry as well as keeping the old".
And asked how she felt about judging wannabe pop stars, she says, "I'm a little nervous. I'm going to be a straight shooter and say it like I see it and maintain that philosophy.
"I'm somebody who's really honest and gives an opinion. If I feel I need to be hard, I will be. And if I feel I need to be more nurturing, I will be."

Abdul: I'm "Concerned" About New Idol Judge...
American Idol judge Paula Abdul has spoken out about her "concerns" over the hiring of songwriter Kara DioGuardi as the show's new expert.
Grammy-winner DioGuardi will join original judges Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson on the hit show when its eighth season kicks off next year.
The songwriter and producer is a stand-out talent in the music industry - writing hit tracks for superstars including Britney Spears, Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera.
But former pop star Abdul is worried about how the show's fans will take to the newcomer, and how she will interact with her fellow panelists.
Abdul says, "I am concerned about the audience and acceptance. Time will tell. We'll see.
"That's gonna be weird if it's a split decision. I'm sure Simon will get to make the final call. It takes the fun out of all the hard work I do to push those kids through."
Maybe Idol is working on replacing her for the 9th Season...

Jordin Sparks Admits to Having Crush on Simon...
Little side story Smile American Idol star Jordin Sparks was surprised to win the TV talent contest - because she was distracted by judge Simon Cowell's good looks.
The singer won the reality TV show last year and has since dominated the international charts with her hit "No Air."
But the 18-year-old was shocked to win the contest - because Cowell made her go weak at the knees.
She says, "I did have a crush on Simon before going on the show. He doesn't care about hurting people's feelings and doesn't hold back with that he says. For some reason, that's so attractive."

Animal rights campaigner Pamela Anderson was left shocked at a recent press conference in Australia - after a risk-taking reporter pulled a chicken drumstick out of his shorts.
The former Baywatch beauty was meeting journalists in Sydney earlier this week to promote her reality show Pam: Girl On The Loose, when an eager reporter tried to grab her attention by pulling down his shorts and asking the star to sign his red underwear.
And after happily signing her name on the semi-naked man's briefs, the bizarre meeting turned sour as anti-KFC campaigner Anderson was confronted by a chicken leg the reporter had pulled from his pants.
The vegetarian star was clearly unhappy with the situation, especially when the man began to eat the chicken piece, telling her manager, "This is what happens. See, I create this image and this is what happens."
Anderson protested outside branch of fast-food restaurant KFC in Sydney last month in a bid to try and convince the brand to refuse to use factory farmed animal meat.

Model-turned-author Mia Tyler had no idea actress Liv Tyler was her half-sister when the pair first met at an Aerosmith concert.
Neither girl had been told of the other's existence, but they instinctively knew they were connected in some way after meeting backstage at one of their father Steve Tyler's shows.
Mia, who was eight at the time, recalls, "There was this girl who looked like me. I went home that night and I couldn't stop talking about her, and my mom was like, 'Wait a minute...' and I think she started putting two and two together and she was like, 'That's your sister.'"
The Tyler sisters have been inseparable ever since, and are now helping each other cope with single life - divorced Mia recently split from fiance Brian Harrah, while Liv is going through a divorce with rocker Royston Langdon.

The 53-year-old was able to check out of hospital after doctors altered the medication he was on, and his spokesman told reporters the star was soon "feeling great".
And Grammer proved his worth by returning to work on the latest advertisement for soft drink Dr. Pepper.
The star will reprise his beloved role of Dr Frasier Crane for the commercial shoot, which will air in the U.S. later this year.
