"Revolutionary Road" in front of her director husband Sam Mendes was

novel, Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio play a married suburban couple.

blockbuster Titanic, as well.

Prince, Madonna and Michael Jackson hitting the big 5-0...
Perhaps the three most influential and prolific pop icons of the last half century, Prince, Madonna and Michael Jackson, will all be 50 by the end of the summer. But that doesn't mean they're going anywhere.
The "Purple Rain" star turned 50 June 7, Madge will turn 50 tomorrow, August 16, and MJ hits the big 5-0 August 29.
USA Today had several EIC's weigh in on the staying power of these music (and cultural) icons. Here's what a couple of them had to say:
"A reality of pop culture now is the disposability of talent," Us Weekly editor-in-chief Janice Min told USA Today.
"That they have permeated several generations is incredible. Any
20-year-old in a car is going to sing along with "1999," "Let's Go
Crazy," "Beat It" or "Borderline." These songs are at gyms, parties,
weddings. And it's not the Macarena.
"All three are such larger-than-life figures that they've become
otherworldly," she says. "It's not like Pete Wentz or Gym Class Heroes.
They're still enigmatic and inaccessible and on pedestals, which is the
essence of iconic status. Madonna, her whole life, has been called the
flavor of the month. It's been a really long month."
No Reality Show for Electra & Patterson...
Carmen Electra's fiance Rob Patterson has promised the couple will not be documenting their marriage in a reality TV show.
Electra previously took part in an MTV show with her ex-husband Dave Navarro - entitled Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave - which covered their courtship and nuptials. The couple divorced in 2007 after three years of marriage.
