Woohooo! Another fun filled city of American Idol!  I am sorry if I didnt get around to replying to comments about the shows for the past few weeks. Will do so this week.

Contestant 1.
Simon is calling Paula Slutty. She works for her marents at the meat market. EEEWWWWWWWWWWWW.  She can also burp VERY loud...
Singing: My baby
EEEK! Was way out there! Stick to burping and meat grinding...

Contestant 2.
on the phone... missed the whole audition... WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND CALLED ME DURING IDOL????????? GRRRRR
From what I heard, he sounded good and got thru.

Ummm, had a bad accent. Simon said he would like him if he was drunk. I thought he stunk but he's goin thru...

From Jacksonville. "big" sisters. Have different tastes in men... only point they made on camera... Oh they both are single... lol
Singing: Couldnt hear the song choice... I liked it!
Singing: My Guy... They both can sing!  Very good I might add...

Tonight we are in Omaha Nebraska! 10,000 hopefuls! WOW, I'd hate to have to hear 9,970 BAD singers...

Contestant 1.
A 25 yo, his first time Idol audition...
Singing: Since U been Gone
I coulda told you he sucked... I've never seen ANYONE sing an Idol's hit and make it thru. It was aweful!

Could sing, but was forgetting his lyrics...He deserved another shot. But its a one and only shot... He needs to remember his lyrics...

Raised by men. Arm wrestles really good... a arm wrestler champ...

It was countryish. Needs some work!

So sorry there wasn't a post yesterday, I got so caught up in the shuffle that I didnt get one posted!! So today's is a little longer.

Heath's Family Speaks...

Published in the West Australian newspaper on Friday are notes of love and grief from the family of Heath Ledger, 28-year-old actor, who died Tuesday, January 22, 2008.
People.com reports the following quotes from Friday's issue of the West Australian:
Sally, Heath's mother wrote:

”Our darling boy, special in so many ways to all of us. You knew you were so loved. You lived life with courage and daring and we are so grateful for the wonderful times we shared. We will be there for Matilda."

Heath's sister, Katie, who called her younger brother by the nickname "Roast" wrote:

"I can hardly breathe when I try to write this. We were the ultimate in soul mates. I feel both my heart and life have been torn apart. I loved our special talks, our daily chats from where ever you were in the world.

I especially loved all the precious time we spent together. We were so fortunate to have you as long as we did. You were so many things to so many people, but to me you were just my little brother.

There will never, ever be another "Heath" and I think that in itself is the greatest tragedy.

I will continue to talk with you everyday and love you just as if you were here. You will never leave my thoughts "Roast", ever.”

Heath's father wrote:

"My beautiful boy, so loving, so talented, so independent, so caring, so young . . . no more chess games mate . . . this is it, couldn't beat you anyway!

My body aches for the sound of your voice, our chats, our laughs and our life and times together.

Your truly varied artistic skills, insatiable desire to improve and eclectic abilities set you apart from any other person on the planet . . . it had only just started for you ... and for us to further enjoy. A note signed by his entire family reads:

John Travolta has explained his outpouring of grief for Heath Ledger, who he only briefly met - the young actor was the Grease's star's leading inspiration.
While many stars have offered brief tributes to the 28-year-old actor, who died on Tuesday, Travolta has gushed about the Brokeback Mountain star, calling him his "favorite actor."

Production On Ledger's Final Movie Halted...
Filming on the set of Heath Ledger's final film The Imaginarium OF Doctor Parnassus has been abandoned following the death of the actor.
Ledger was found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday afternoon.
The cast of Terry Gilliam's new fantasy movie had recently finished filming in London and was set to relocate to Canada, where shooting was to begin at Vancouver's Bridge Studios.

Spears Turns Down Plea Deal Over Hit-and-run Incident...

Britney Spears has rejected a plea deal offered by the Los Angeles' City Attorney in relation to hit-and-run charges incurred last August (07).
The star scraped a parked car in a private parking lot in the San Fernando Valley on August 6th, 2007 in California while driving without a valid license.

Amy Winehouse's record company, Universal Musich Group, has announced that the British singer has entered rehab.
"Amy decided to enter the facility today after talks with her record label, management, family and doctors," the record company said in a statement.

Simpson Sends Lawyers After OK!...
Jessica Simpson's attorneys have demanded America's OK! magazine print a "prominent and unambiguous" retraction after accusing them of publishing a "smear campaign" against the singer.

Spears' Multi-million Dollar Economy...
I wanted to post the face again, but I'm limited so I'll just give ya the story...
News and pictures of troubled pop star Britney Spears are now so profitable the singer is said to have created her own economy.
Spears herself is said to be worth an estimated $125 million and earns over $700,000 a month in interest from her own personal accounts, but that pales in comparison to the vast sums she makes for other sectors of the entertainment industry.
A new survey by Portfolio magazine has revealed that since launching her career eight years ago the 26-year-old has pulled in excess of $400 million for her record label Jive, $150 million for tour promoters and venues and her two-endorsed perfumes are reported to have made beauty manufacturer Elizabeth Arden approximately $100 million since their launch.

Toilet seats, the final frontier in home decorating, are now ready for new look, thanks to an Ohio firm.

The overlooked commode sparked the creative spirit in fashion entrepreneur Celeste Massullo of Macedonia, Ohio, who is now producing Toilet Tattoos to help the home's porcelain throne live up to its name.

Toilet Tattoos are reusable and come in humorous and classical designs. You can choose Butterflies or Ocean Fish, or change the look of your toilet seat lid for holidays. For potty training, several designs are available, including one with a happy face and the optimistic refrain, You Did It!

The tattoos use electrostatic cling rather then adhesives and they are easy to wipe clean.

Toilet decor products had not changed for decades, said Massullo, who thought shaggy, rug-like lid covers needed a contemporary upgrade. She has applied for a patent on Toilet Tattoos, some of which feature original art work, photographs and floating ducks.

She is from the same place as Kellie Pickler and says that if she isnt better than Kellie, than she is going home...

The Dish will be taking a day to reflect the loss of the Entertainment Industry. For now, here is a statement released by the family of Heath Ledger.

Heath's family confirms the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda. He was found peacefully asleep in his New York apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30 p.m. U.S. time.

We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their well wishes and kind thoughts at this time. Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him.

He was a down to earth, generous, kind-hearted, life-loving and selfless individual who was extremely inspirational to many. Please now respect our families need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately.

Ledger's ex-girlfriend and mother of his daughter Matilda, is reportedly "devastated" by the news, reports People. The actress was on location in Sweden and thought to be with Matilda. Reports claim she boarded a plane to New York after hearing of his death.

This lady , looks good to be the first one up...

Looks like an Idol Pattern.... The first one is always someone who can acutlly sing and make it thru... It was good but not great. She got thru tho...

Contestant 2.
This next guy is a single father raising a little boy all on his own due to his mother passing away.
Singing: I'll make love to you
Wow! I really liked it! I say top 12!! Definitly one of the best I've seen so far!

Supposidly she is a major Mariah Carrey fan... People think she sounds like her... Umm I am smart enough to think different...

Sounded like a teen boy with his voice cracking all the time. HORRIBLE ENDING! 1 in a billion odds from Simon...

BREAKING NEWS: **HEATH LEDGER DEAD AT 28**

Heath Ledger was found dead of an apparent drug overdose in New York City Tuesday. He was 28.

Police told the New York Times that signs lead them to believe the actor committed suicide or accidentally overdosed.

Ledger was found in a Broome Street apartment in Manhattan's Soho neighborhood by his housekeeper and a masseuse with whom he had scheduled an appointment.

The New York Times reports that according to police, a masseuse arrived to give Ledger a massage around 3:30 pm EST. The masseuse was admitted to the apartment by the housekeeper, and when Ledger didn't answer his bedroom door, the housekeeper and masseuse found him unconcious in his bedroom with a bottle of pills nearby. They immediately called 911.

TMZ.com reports that when paramedics arrived, Ledger was in full cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:45 pm EST.

Ledger, originally of Perth, Australia, gained critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for his role in the 2005 film Brokeback Mountain.

He has a two-year-old daughter, Matilda Rose, with former girlfriend and Brokeback Mountain co-star Michelle Williams. The pair ended their relationship in September 2007, but shared custody of Matilda.

Ledger plays the Joker in the upcoming Batman film, The Dark Night, which is due out this year. His other film credits include "10 Things I Hate About You," "A Knight's Tale," "The Patriot," and "Monster's Ball."

Music mogul Simon Cowell has changed his mind about Britney Spears - he's convinced she's "in control" and is callously manipulating the media.

Tonight we hit Dallas Texas, the home of our First American Idol Kelly Clarkson.  Will we find another Idol here tonight? Only time will tell!!

She is a stay at home mom for 2 girls. Looks like she would be a good singer. She said she used Meth in HS. Wow, they have pics of her then, and they are aweful compared to what she looks now.

Had a few pitch problems... VERY Good for a first audition. And she makes it!!

This next guy has a face like a pug. Cant dance for crap so I expect he cant sing for crap. Has a stuffy nose as well...

I can tell they are trying to be nicer this season... there no "DUDE, YOU SUCK".... well, the night is still young.

Brad Renfro Dead at 25...
Troubled movie star Brad Renfro has died.
The 25-year-old actor was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, according to TMZ.com.
The cause of death has not been determined, however, Renfro has had a history of drug abuse.
"The Client" star had been working to stay clean and sober after a string of drug offences, including attempted heroin possession.
The actor was accused of violating his probation after failing to enroll in a drug treatment program, following his conviction for attempted possession of heroin last summer.
A Los Angeles Superior Court Judge and LA Deputy District Attorney warned Renfro that if he failed to enroll in a 18-month to three-year outpatient program he would be jailed.
This was the second time Renfro had violated his probation.
Renfro pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted possession in February 2006 after he was caught in a police sting in December 2005.
At one point, Renfro was considered among the hottest stars in Hollywood; he was named The Hollywood Reporter's Young Star and one of People magazine's Top 30 Under 30 in the mid 1990s.
Ironically, he was inspired to become an actor after starring in a school production sponsored by drug organization DARE, aimed at teaching kids about the dangers of drugs, according to imdb.com.
He first found himself in trouble with the law for his drug problems in 1998 when he was arrested in his native Tennessee, when police pulled him over and allegedly found cocaine and marijuana in his pants and socks.
Despite his troubled personal life, Renfro starred in a number of cult films; as well as "The Client", he also appeared in "Ghost World", "Apt Pupil" and "The Jacket".
He was reportedly still filming an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' "The Informers" with Winona Ryder when he died.

The pregnancy scandal revolving around Britney Spears' teenage sister, Jamie Lynn, is being used as part of a campaign to urge pet owners to spay and neuter dogs and cats.
Animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are hoping pet lovers get the link between a hard-hitting new Internet video and young Spears.
In the film, which has been posted on PETA's website, a 16 year-old girl is encouraged to become sexually active.
When the horrified girl asks, "What if I get pregnant?" the parents urge her to "pop out all the kids you can".
The ad concludes, "Parents shouldn't act this way. Neither should people with dogs and cats. Always spay or neuter."

 

Grammys Unlikely To Get WGA Waiver...
Man, I was looking forward to watching them this year too!
The 2008 Grammy Awards look set to become another casualty of the Hollywood writers strike, after Writers Guild of America (WGA) union members insisted the music ceremony was "unlikely" to receive a waiver.
The annual event is under threat of cancellation after celebrities like Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, 50 Cent and Jon Bon Jovi pledged their allegiance to the WGA members, who have been on strike since November 2007 over royalties.

Spears and her paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib caused a stir at the upmarket store upon their arrival, and as trendy shoppers watched, Spears grabbed a Betsey Johnson dress and took it to a fitting room.
But when she re-appeared, she wasn't wearing the dress or what she had on when she entered the store.

Welcome to Season 7 of American Idol!!!!!!!!!!

We know this about people on American Idol. They can be anyone, they can have any profession, they can come from anywhere but they all have the same dream!

For some it will be the first step, for others its the final run! It can be anyone we see in the crowds but only 1 will be crowned the next AMERICAN IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

 

The first stop of the American Idol this season is Philadelphia.

This guy has lost about 200 pounds and he is ready to audition. "I dont feel like I'm held back."

Hilary's reps are saying the alleged lip-syncing incident was in fact faulty equipment and insist she performs live at all her concerts, reports People.
This past weekend, as Duff was singing at her Mexico concert, the singer was seen bending over the microphone and lips moving, but no sound could be heard for the beginning of a song. Her reps told People, "She was not lip-synching. It was faulty equipment. There was no sound coming out, but she was singing."

Britney Shows Up At Hearing, Leaves...

HSM 3 - The Entire Cast Signs On...
The cast of High School Musical 3: Senior Year was announced Monday – and all six of the stars have officially signed on, reports People.com.
The third and final chapter of the HSM phenomenon will star Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, and Lucas Grabeel. While the first two films aired on The Disney Channel only, this one will be a feature film.

Hilton is slated to accept the award and speak publicly to Harvard University's student body at a large public ceremony in the middle of Harvard Square in Cambridge, Mass., Feb. 6, said Regent Releasing, the studio behind her new big-screen comedy The Hottie and the Nottie, which opens nationwide February 8.

Musicians To Boycott Grammys Over Writer's Strikes?...

Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, 50 Cent and Jon Bon Jovi are considering boycotting this year's Grammy Awards ceremony in support of the Hollywood writer's strikes.
The annual ceremony is under threat of cancellation after celebrities from the music industry pledged their allegiance to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) union members.
Prince, Alicia Keys, Fantasia, Nelly Furtado, Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, The White Stripes, Fergie and Usher are also threatening to boycott the event, scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on February 10, 2008, reports the New York Daily News.
A source tells the publication, "The writers are especially interested in artists who might perform on the show. If they pull out, the show comes apart."
But a spokesman for the WGA says, "As of now, the Guild has not taken a position on the Grammys."

 

Cruise And Holmes Taking Suri On Special Shopping Spree...
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were given a private visit to a New York toy store recently, so they could take daughter Suri on a special shopping spree.
Bosses locked members of the public out so the trio could roam around F.A.O. Schwartz - made famous by Tom Hanks' movie Big - and Holmes reveals she and her superstar husband were the biggest kids there.
The Batman Begins star says, "We went to F.A.O. Schwartz last week and we were running around and eating ice cream and playing with the toys. And Tom and I were playing with most of the toys."

Yesterday I couldnt get on the site at all for some reason but I did write a post... Thought I would throw this one up before I wrote another one :)

Well, we are just a few short weeks away from the premier of Big Brother 9!!!! BUT we are only a few short HOURS away from the premier of American Idol 7!!! As I said before, I will have One banner for both shows. The left side of the banner will feature the top 12 American Idols (and in the order I think they will be eliminated) and the right half will show the Big Brother top 12 (or however many contestants there are) and this season, I will be putting people's names (prior to hearing anything about them) in envelopes in the order I think they will be eliminated.  It'a Boy For Christina...
Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman are finally celebrating after welcoming a baby boy into the world on Saturday night.
The Fighter hitmaker was reported to have gone into labor on Friday at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, with E! news claiming the singer gave birth by caesarian section at around 4pm that afternoon - one hour after socialite Nicole Richie and rocker Joel Madden celebrated the birth of their daughter, Harlow Winter Kate Madden at the same hospital.

K-Fed: Back In The Studio...
K-Fed is reportedly back in the studio at work. E! News reports that Britney's ex has been spending time working out of his home studio - he's a stay-at-home dad with full custody of his two sons with Spears, Jayden James and Sean Preston - but he's been busy.
"Kevin has been actively producing, nurturing new artists and doing it all from his home studio, so he can be there for his kids whenever they need him," a source close to Federline told E!.

As for your Big Brother 9 Update...
It is still on!! Although it is sooo going to be a pain watching that AND American Idol because they will always both be on at the same time! Tuesday and Wednesday nights along with Sunday.

Also, for those who have Shotime 2, you will be able to watch Big Brother After Dark again.
