9-20 Dish: A Birthday Post, plus Prizes!!
Well, my friends, on this day many years ago, a guy named Zach was born and deceided he wanted to get into the blogging industry. And as that birthday comes around this year, I would like to reflect on my progress over the past year... I started out with a blog, wasnt very successful. Well, I guess I could say that it was more successful back then than it is now. Averaging probably about 75 views a day and maybe 3 comments for the first 2 or so months compare to now's 5 or 6 views a day and maybe 6 or 7 comments a week. What can we do about this?

O.J. Simpson Released From Jail...

(Reuters) - Former NFL star O.J. Simpson has been released from jail after a Las Vegas court granted bail of $125,000 on Wednesday. Simpson faces criminal charges stemming from what police say was an armed robbery of his own sports memorabilia at a Las Vegas hotel.
Simpson, who was acquitted of killing his ex-wife and her friend in 1995 after a sensational double-murder trial, appeared in court at a hearing lasting about 10 minutes.

(Reuters) - A court commissioner has ordered Britney Spears to undergo random drug testing and hire a parenting coach to help the pop singer raise her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, court papers showed on Tuesday.
The documents, which were posted on celebrity news site TMZ.com, result from a Monday hearing in the bitter custody battle between Spears and Federline over their two sons -- Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.

Today's the day pirates around the world 'arrr' celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
According to
talklikeapirate.com, the day was founded in 1995 while two guys were playing racquetball. Curse words soon turned to pirate slang.
Today hundreds of swashbucklers and rum drinkers use the day to unleash their inner pirate.
Captain Hurricane Zerr says, "you don't have to use clichés like 'arrrg' and 'eye,' you just need to think like a pirate and you'll be one for sure!"
"If you just talk a little funny, use your voice a little lower, you get a little gravelly, and a little crazy-eyed, and suddenly the voice of a pirate just springs forth from you."

Study: Many People Lie About Washing Their Hands
More U.S. adults say they wash their hands after using a restroom than they actually do, an observational study found.
The study by Harris Interactive for the American Society for Microbiology and The Soap and Detergent Association found that 88 percent of the women compared to 66 percent of the men were observed washing their hands in a public restroom.
In a separate telephone survey, 92 percent of adults say they wash their hands in public restrooms.
