The BEST top three I've seen in a long time
From millions to just three left. Your Idol will be crowned
next week!!! Tonight, each contestant will sing 3 songs: one picked by the
judges, one picked by the producers and one picked by them.
Each contestant has 3 numbers that you can call. I will add
them to the list below. HOWEVER, there isn’t three numbers for text voting. The
number that is in bold is there texting number. Also note that the “Last week”
vote is based on the last weeks Last Song which was the second song they chose.
I have decided that this season I will watch the show and
judge without the input of the judges. I mute them while I type my results.
Then I replayed the results during breaks and said who I agreed with.
Honestly!! These performances are in order so if you are still up until 1:00 AM
EST tonight, you can still call in! Remember the number is
1-866-IDOLS(43657)-(their two digits eg. 01 or 12) OR if you have a AT&T
(The new Cingular) Wireless phone, you can text the word VOTE to 57(their two
digits). ((OK now I really feel like Ryan))
01, 04, 07. Jordin
Sparks sang Simon’s Choice: Wishing
on a Star by Rose Royce.
How I think
they did: She is definitely trying her best and wants to stay. I would say it wasn’t
her best, but ok…
I agree with Simon on replay.
My Order (This week: 2) (Last week: 2)
02, 05, 08. Blake
Lewis sang Paula’s Choice: Roxanne
by The Police.
How I think
they did: It was pretty good, only a few pitch parts, the mic went flying at
the end! Good choice by Paula, I thought he forgot a word or two…
I agree with Randy on replay.
My Order (This week: 3) (Last week: 3)
03, 06, 09. Melinda
Doolittle sang Randy’s Choice: I
Believe in You and Me by Whitney Houston.
How I think
they did: That was AWESOME, I could see the fireworks behind her after that one
in the finale!!!
I agree with Randy on replay.
My Order (This week: 1) (Last week: 1)
01, 04, 07. Jordin
Sparks sang Producer’s Choice: She
Works Hard for the Money by Donna Summers.
How I think
they did: Definitly better than her first performance. It doesn’t matter what
she sings, it always works out in the end…
I agree with Simon on replay.
My Order (This song: 2) (Last song: 2)
02, 05, 08. Blake
Lewis sang Producer’s Choice: This
Love by Maroon 5.
How I think
they did: That was his genre! It worked out WONDERFULLY. Good night for him but
am going to be sad to see go home…
I agree with Simon on replay.
My Order (This song: 3) (Last song: 3)
03, 06, 09. Melinda
Doolittle sang Producer’s Choice: Nutbush
City Limits by Ike & Tina Turner.
How I think
they did: First off, THAT WAS MY QUESTION FOR THE IDOLS grrrrrrr. I submitted
that one right at the beginning!!! Sigh… nonetheless, I wont be too mad. That
was her genre! She should stick to that genre.
I agree with Simon on replay.
My Order (This song: 1) (Last song: 1)
01, 04, 07. Jordin
Sparks sang Idol’s Choice: I Who Have
Nothing by Shirley Bassey/Tom Jones.
How I think
they did: That was her best one tonight. Now its time for her to rest! Haha.
I agree with Simon on replay.
My Order (This song: 2) (Last song: 2)
02, 05, 08. Blake
Lewis sang Idol’s Choice: when I Get You Alone by Robin Thicke.
How I think
they did: It was ok, his Maroon 5 song was much better. The beat boxing could
have been avoided but all in all OK.
I agree with Randy on replay.
My Order (This song: 3) (Last song: 3)
03, 06, 09. Melinda
Doolittle sang I’m A Woman by Peggy
Lee/Maria Muldaur.
How I think
they did: I thought it was awesome. Best I’ve seen from her in a while! She
will win this. As I watched this performance, I didn’t even think about the
first time she sang that song.
I agree with Simon on replay.
My Order (This song: 1) (Last song: 1)
Well, I’m excited to vote tonight! I have no idea who is
going home!!! Most likely will be Blake but Jordin might be in the mix as well…
Oh I hate waiting!!!!
