What a day. I literally left the house at 6:30 this morning and I got back about ten minutes ago (10:30 pm). Few things I wanted to post before I go to bed (then wake up and repeat this long cycle again.)


 American Idol’s Chris Daughtry’s first single released…

For those Daughtry fans out there, the single is out. I didn’t like him on the show, but the single is really good. I will get the album when it comes out. You can go to this site and listen to the full album before the release (it wouldn’t work for me though)


 

Oprah Winfrey Not Invited to Cruise/Holmes Wedding…

Tom Cruise may have famously jumped on Oprah Winfrey's couch to declare his love for fiancée Katie Holmes, but Winfrey won't be attending the couple's wedding in Italy on Saturday.

The celebrity couple and their entourage arrived in the European country on Monday and are reportedly getting married in a castle on Lake Bracciano.

 

Dave Chappelle Cancels Las Vegas Show…

One of my favorite comedians.

Comedian Dave Chappelle has canceled his performance at Las Vegas' Comedy Festival on Thursday.

The actor has given no reason for pulling out of the show, and his no-show will be compensated for by Bill Maher, who will perform an extended routine.

Chappelle shocked the country in April last year when he walked out on a multi-million dollar TV show deal with Comedy Central.

Wow, I missed this post.  I am a huge DAUGHTRY fan.  He is the first person on my myspace page, I've done everything (within reason on course) to help promote him.  I have preordered his CD and expect it arrive next week as it's release date is 10/21.

Since I'm on his myspace page as well, I get almost daily bulletins and blogs from him.  The other day I got a blog that linked me to VH1 and a first listen to his CD.  Personally I loved it, but then again I absolutely love Chris's voice.  I'm guessing the link you show above is the same link that was sent to my on my myspace.  

Anyone with a myspace account can find his new single "It's Not Over".  Anyone from Steeple who is on my myspace can listen to it - it's the song on myspace currently.

Let me assure you, this is not your typical IDOL CD.  Chris was not bound by the IDOL contract that he would have been had he won IDOL.  In fact, by coming in 4th, it was actually a good thing for his career.  Try this link:
