11-30 Dish: Dont forget to sign up for the Secret SteepleMedia Project!!
30 November 06 11:39 PM | Zach | 2 comment(s)

Well my friends, tomorrow is FrIdAy!!!! I cannot wait. This week felt like it took forever.  Here is your dish!

Only a few days left to sign up for the Super Secret SteepleMedia Project. For those of you who have not sent in the project, please do so before Monday which is when the project goes public. Honestly I will pester you until you sign up so get to it!!

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker Engaged!...

Finally a celebrity getting married, that puts them at Oh, -55 or so.

Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock may be kaput (funny word), but that doesn't mean Eva Longoria and Tony Parker aren't going to try their hand at marriage.

The Desperate Housewives star and 24-year-old Parker, a point guard for the San Antonio Spurs, are engaged!

Sheen/Richards Divorce Finalized…

Well when one marriage starts, another one ends. So that makes -57 again.

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards are officially split. They split shortly after Christmas.

Richards is now dating Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora.

Spears Goes Commando…

I thought this was a better story than Danny DeVito gets drunk during an interview.

The freshly single Britney Spears was caught again without wearing any underwear in public.

These pics can be found on various websites and in British newspapers.

Mel Gibson Offers Disgraced Michael Richards His Support…

I laughed, I cryed when I heard this. Mel giving out advise? HA

Mel Gibson has offered his support to disgraced actor Michael Richards, revealing he came close to writing a note to the former Seinfeld star after his racist rant in a Los Angeles comedy club.

The movie mogul, who made headlines this summer for making drunken anti-Semitic remarks to a California highway patrol cop, insists he knows what Richards is going through.

The comic is desperately trying to make amends with African-American groups after repeating the word "n**ger" in an angry rant aimed at two black hecklers during a recent show at The Laugh Factory.

Nicole Kidman Tops Hollywood Earners List…

Nothing new on this topic, I just wanted to mention that I beat my source to this one :P

Pamela Anderson's Divorce Fears…

She thinks it will harm her kids.

The newest Dish Segment:

Holiday Carols: Name that Tune!!

This is something fun I used to post all the time on my run down website. One or two people would take a stab at it. I am working on making a cool banner and nice design on it but for this week it will look kinda boring.

Basically all you have to do is read the line of a certain Holiday song that I post. In the comments put the Song title and the original singer of the song. I will go easy on you today. Tomorrow I will post the answer. Feel free to post your answer in the comments at any time.

Oh No!!! Not another divorce…

Four months into the marriage, Pamela Anderson doesn’t want to be involved anymore so she is splitting up with Kid Rock.

Various online reports indicate that the former Baywatch babe and the rap-rocker each filed divorce papers Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.

Anderson has since posted the following message on her official web site:

Divorce
Yes, it's true.
Unfortunately impossible.

'Dreamgirls' Star Gets Record Contract…

Former American Idol competitor and 'Dreamgirls' co-star Jennifer Hudson has been signed to Arista Records, which since its inception has been home to an illustrious group of award-winning mega-star female artists including Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick, Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, Dido and others.

Hudson will head into the studio next year to begin recording her debut album.

Michael Richards Apologizes on Radio Show…

One more time he apologizes. Now it is getting annoying

'Da Vinci Code' Sequel on the Way in 2008…

I am excited now :)

A sequel to the blockbuster movie adaptation 'The Da Vinci Code' is in the works.

Scriptwriter Akiva Goldsman, who adapted the Dan Brown novel for the big screen, has reportedly been paid $3.8 million to write the sequel.

However, it's said the sequel will not be an original story, but will actually be based on "Angels and Demons," the book which precedes "The Da Vinci Code."

Sources claim the plot, which sees cryptologist Robert Langdon, played by Tom Hanks, help a woman to discover the links between her father's death and secret society conspiracies, will be altered so that it can follow on from the first film.

Lindsay Lohan named in overdose shocker…

Young star Lindsay Lohan was found unconscious in a hotel room after overdosing on a deadly cocktail of cocaine and painkillers.

That’s that startling allegation in the new issue of the National Enquirer, which claims Lohan was rescued by a doctor after she overdosed on Nov. 12.

The Enquirer reports that a friend of the 20-year-old actress found her unconscious in a “drug-filled” room at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.

11-26 Dish: What? A dish today? I'm still full from Turkey Day.
26 November 06 10:42 PM | Zach | 2 comment(s)

Well, someone must have decided to do some work this weekend because I actually have dish stuff to post. Not too much I can talk about though. I have to save a few things for tomorrow.

Richards: Filled With Rage, Not Racism…

Michael Richards, or the actor who played Kramer, says he not a racist and wants to figure out why he had such an outburst. Hmmm… I don’t know, maybe he was sick of not being recognized in the news or something. Not for me to judge about I guess

He said that he had NEVER used such language before. This is a quote from him: That's why I'm shattered by it, he said. The way this came through me was like a freight train. And after it was over, when I went to look for them, they had gone. And I've tried to meet them, to talk with them, to get to some healing because of the hate that came to the floor on all sides.

He also said that he felt humiliated by the audience -- and said his pain was so great he felt he had to hurt others to feel better about himself.

Report: 'Borat' Star Cohen Engaged…

Honestly, I don’t really care for this movie. I hated Napoleon Dynamite and this movie looked really stupid. Heres the story.

British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, star of the hit film Borat, is reportedly engaged to actress Isla Fisher and aiming for a wedding next summer.

A source has claimed that Cohen, the star and creative force behind Borat: Cultural Learnings Of America For Make Benefit Glorious Nation Of Kazakhstan, and Fisher have agreed to a wedding date, Sky News reported.

Blah, Blah, BLAH!! Lets all pretend that this never happened.

I also wanted to share the recent birthdays.

Off Topic: How to Rai$e your Children to be ~$Rich$~
26 November 06 01:32 PM | Zach | 2 comment(s)

Even though there isnt going to be a real dish until Monday, I found this article from wikihow.com would be very useful to some parents out there.  I also wanted to point out that you can now add the Dish to your Google, AOL, Yahoo and MSN pages by clicking on the button at the end of the article.

How to Raise Children to Be Rich

Many of the skills and attitudes needed to become rich begin to develop in childhood. If you want your child to grow up to become the next Bill Gates or Warren Buffett, or if you just want to encourage the development of habits that will help your child become more responsible with money, start early and be a good example.

Steps

  1. Examine your beliefs and feelings about money. Do you believe that money is a good thing that can help you achieve your dreams and have fun, or do you see it first and foremost at “the root of all evil”? If your thoughts tend toward the latter, you’ll have a hard time convincing your child that building wealth is a good thing. What’s more, you may not want to instill such values if they come into conflict with your own. Carefully think about your attitudes toward money and where they came from; you may decide wealth is more (or less) important than you thought. Still, no matter how you feel about money, you probably want your child to grow up to be a financially secure adult, so consider that in your child-rearing decisions.
  2. Fix your own spending habits. If you spend more than you earn, or if you spend your money frivolously and neglect to save and invest, you can’t expect your child to develop responsible habits. Worse, you’ll probably have more trouble providing your child with his or her basic needs, and money will always be a source of stress in your household. Identify your problem areas, and work to correct them. Develop a budget and stick to it. Start saving money and investing for retirement. These steps will make your life easier now and will set a good example for your child.
  3. Appraise your work ethic. Hard work is the only way to financial success for most people. Are you a conscientious worker, or do you drift from job to job without putting much effort into your career? A bad work ethic is hard to change, but if you can do it now, you will be more financially comfortable, and your child won’t have to overcome the same hurdle later in life.
  4. Think about what values you want to instill in your child. Chances are, you have mixed feelings about money and about work. That’s only natural, but you don’t want to send your child mixed messages. If you want your child to aspire to build wealth, you need to espouse the virtues of money and of work. If you think that the wealthy should share more of their wealth (or even that rich people are jerks), don’t say things that make your child think that being rich is bad or somehow wrong, and don’t suggest to your child that wealth brings unhappiness. Instead, praise the ingenuity and work ethic of financially successful people while also encouraging your child to be ethical, charitable, and socially responsible with money. If you hate your job, take action and get a different job. Whatever you do, don’t complain to your children about your job or how much you have to work. This may cause them to feel that work is something that should be avoided.
  5. Plan your family. If you don’t yet have children, or if you’re thinking about adding to your family, try to make sure that you can afford a child before you have one. Kids are very expensive, and if you’re on shaky financial ground, the expenses of raising a child can put you in a very difficult position. Successful adults are more likely to spring from secure homes, where parents have enough time to spend with their children. If you have to work constantly to support your children, you just won’t have time to raise them right.
  6. Invest in your child’s education. Unfortunately, a large percentage of children in the U.S. (and all over the world) don’t get a good education, even if they do well in school. Research schools in your area and try to get your child into the best schools available. There are many excellent public schools, but depending on where you live you may need to invest in private school. Look for a rigorous educational experience that will challenge your child, prepare him or her for college, and build character. If you can get your child into a good preschool, he or she will typically be better prepared to do well in school.
  7. Start saving for college early. As the cost of tuition at good colleges rises to outrageous levels, parents need to prepare for college earlier and earlier. An Ivy League education isn’t necessary to become rich or successful, but it helps.
  8. Expect good grades from your child. Early on, encourage your child to get good grades, and stress the importance of doing well in school. You need to support your child in this endeavor, however—be ready to help them address any problems they may have with learning, and make sure your home is an environment conducive for studying. If your child has trouble with school, seek advice from his or her teachers. If nothing else works, consider getting a tutor. While education is valuable in many ways, one of the most important things your child can learn from school isn’t taught in class: how to develop good work habits. By demanding and supporting good academic performance, you can help your child on the path to self-reliance.
  9. Communicate the value of money to your child. Probably every parent at some point says that “money doesn’t grow on trees.” It’s important that children understand that making money requires initiative and hard work, but all too often money only enters the discussion when you’re refusing a child something, and this can cause your child to see money as a source of stress, rather than as a means to get the things they want. Make sure that children understand the role of money in bringing them good things, not just its role in preventing them from having some things. Be thankful for what you have, and help your child understand that money allows them to live comfortably. By doing so, you will encourage your child to see money as a positive, desirable thing.
  10. Teach your child to manage money. If you supply your child with an allowance, help them to develop a budget, and don’t bail them out if they spend their money too quickly. Make sure they have a reasonable amount of money so that they don’t become resentful if they can’t do anything that their friends are doing, but at the same time don’t try to “keep up with the Joneses.” Early on, children will usually spend beyond their means. While it can be difficult to refuse to supply them with additional money, in the long run it will encourage them to be more responsible. If a child wants something that they could reasonably save up and buy with their allowance or earnings, teach them how to set aside a little money each week so that they can eventually buy the item, and have them keep track of their savings.
  11. Encourage and allow your child to earn money starting at a young age. Whether they’re mowing lawns, cleaning the house, or running a lemonade stand, young entrepreneurs learn the value of work and ambition. Encourage your child in these pursuits. Remember, though, that kids should have time to be kids, too.
  12. Make your teenager get a job. Even if your teen just works during the summer, a job will help him or her to develop a good work ethic and learn the value of money. By the time kids are teenagers, you should already have helped them to develop money management skills. As they grow older, they’ll need more money for things that they want, and if they work for it they’ll value it more.
  13. Encourage your child to think about the future. Aimlessness is one of the most formidable obstacles to building wealth. Unfortunately, a growing number of young adults graduate from high school or even college without any idea of what they want to do with their lives. Beginning in middle school, ask your children to really think about what they want to do “when they grow up.” Have them research their choice and write out a plan of how they intend to accomplish it. Of course, their choice is likely to change several times, but if you encourage your children to really consider their future they’ll likely form a clearer idea of how they want to spend it, and they’ll be able to plan ahead so that they can fulfill their dreams.
  14. Encourage kids to take the long view on their finances. This is related to the previous step, and it is also related to saving money. Nothing kills the ambition to succeed more than a feeling of hopelessness. Encourage your children to set attainable financial goals and then to work hard and save money to attain them. Many high school and college students expect to graduate and immediately make $100,000 a year or be able to buy their dream car. This isn’t usually how it works in the real world, however, so you need to start early to make sure your children understand that building wealth is a lengthy process, but that they can have or do just about anything they want if they’re willing to set goals for themselves and conscientiously work toward those goals. Patience is a virtue.
    • Teach your child about banking and investing. When your children enter middle school (or before), you should educate them about the banking system. Have them set up checking and savings accounts, and teach them to balance their checkbooks. As they get older, teach them about investments and the miracle of compound interest. Hard work is the key to making money, but investing is the best way to build real wealth. Most college students haven’t the faintest idea of how financial markets work.

Tips

  • There are a lot of ways to become rich. While you may have a set career path that you would like your child to take, you shouldn’t force him or her into your dream. Give your children advice, but let them make their own choices. If they can find something they really enjoy doing, they will be more likely to put the necessary work into it to become successful. Encourage and support your kids if they are interested in hobbies or arts.
  • Let your kids fail. If your kids (especially those of college age or older) make bad choices against your advice, don’t be too eager to bail them out. If they constantly fall back on you, they’ll never learn to be self-reliant. Help them through the really tough times, if necessary, but in general just help them see failures as learning experiences. Successful people typically leave behind a long string of failures, but they learn from them and bounce back.
  • Give your children every opportunity to network with wealthy people or people in their chosen careers and teach them the value of networking. People get ahead based on who they know and how they leverage their network more than any other factor.
  • Offer your children instruction in golf, tennis, skiing, and sailing - send them to camps for those activities. Stereotypical as it may seem, these are "wealthy person" sports and if your children learn to enjoy them, they will automatically get more opportunities to meet wealthy people who can help them on their path to becoming wealthy.
  • Remember that money isn’t everything. Of course you want your children to grow up to be independent, financially successful adults, but remember that money really isn’t the key to happiness. Be sure to teach your children how to be happy, not just how to be rich.

Warnings

  • Don’t micromanage. Young children obviously require a lot of supervision with their money, but you shouldn’t always be looking over your kids’ shoulders to make sure they’re spending their money “responsibly.” They’ll learn to spend their money more responsibly if they run out a couple times and you won’t supply them with more.
  • Don’t expect your children to become financially responsible if you’re not. Set a good example.
  • Don’t instill your children with the ambition for wealth without also instilling in them a strong moral and ethical code. Put wealth in context or your child might grow up to be a gang member or Enron CEO.
  • Even if you do everything right, your children may not grow up to be rich. It will depend a lot on their choices and on pure luck. Don't be discouraged if this happens; hopefully, you will have given them the tools they need to at least be independent, responsible adults.

11-24 Dish: David Blaine completes his challenge
25 November 06 02:46 AM | Zach | with no comments

Alright, Thanksgiving was amazing. We just had too much turkey. Also had another Turkey day tonight and another one on Saturday. I’ve got so much turkey in my fridge, I will be eating turkey sandwiches for the next month. So now as I finish up a bowl of Captain Turkey Crunch (a new brand of cereal), I write a nice dish post.

David Blaine Completes Challenge…

Congrats to Blaine for completing the Target Challenge. He had to spin in air for two days I think. Then had to get out of the spinning device and fall 5 stories.

He gave 100 selected kids (picked from the Salvation Army) a $500 gift certificate to Target for a Christmas of a lifetime.

Heidi Klum, Seal Welcome Baby Boy…

Heidi Klum and her husband “Seal” are proud to announce they have a new born son.  This is their second child and they have been happily married for a year now.

Kirk Douglas Feeds Homeless for Thanksgiving…

What did he feed them? Tofurky?

Film legend Kirk Douglas gave up his own Thanksgiving dinner to help out the homeless.

The 89-year-old took to the streets of Los Angeles to dish out turkey dinners to the less fortunate and admits he enjoyed the selfless project.

11-22 Dish: Many items on today's dish
23 November 06 01:15 AM | Zach | 1 comment(s)

Alright, I took the night off from posting last night because I thought I would have all day and post a million times today. I did watch the American Music Awards last night which were awesome. Below I have the results of the show.

2006 American Music Awards…

Here is the post about the awards.

Tawny Kitaen Charged With Cocaine Possession…
Tawny Kitaen Finley has been charged with possession of 15 grams of cocaine. She was also once accused of using high-heeled shoes to pummel her former husband, former Angels pitcher Chuck Finley. Ouch. Finley will be in court Dec. 18 at Harbor Justice Center in Laguna Niguel.

Peter Jackson: "I'm Not Making 'The Hobbit'"…

The 'Lord of the Rings' director Peter Jackson has blasted the Hollywood bosses behind the planned movie adaptation of 'The Hobbit' after they turned down his offer of directing the fantasy 'prequel.'

The book, which takes place years before the events in 'Lord of the Rings,' was expected to be directed by Jackson but New Line cinema, who made the blockbusting trilogy, is now looking for another director to adapt J.R.R. Tolkien's work onto the big screen.

Robert Altman Dead at Age 81…

MASH director Robert Altman has died at age 81. The director of dozens of films and TV dramas, Altman changed the vocabulary of American filmmaking starting with MASH.

"Seinfeld" Star Insists He's Not Racist…

Here is a link to the actual video. I did not include it in this post because of the language used in the video. Viewer discretion is advised for anyone under the age of 18.

Former Seinfeld star Michael Richards insists he is not racist despite leaving comedy fans stunned during a Friday night performance at Los Angeles' Laugh Factory when he attacked a pair of African-American hecklers with a racist rant.

The comedian, who played quirky Cosmo Kramer in the beloved sitcom, lost his cool during a stand-up routine at the comedy club when two black audience members challenged him - and his comments were caught on camera.

Fans Shocked After Paris Pukes on Stage…

Paris Hilton shocked revelers at a Las Vegas nightclub when she got up to perform but ended up vomiting on stage instead.

Singer Joshua Radin was among the guests who went to a nightclub to hear rapper Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter perform and found himself sitting next to the socialite-turned-singer.

David Blaine Begins Spinning Stunt…

This is going to be interesting to watch. I don’t think I would last ten minutes on that wheel.

Magician David Blaine has been shackled four stories high over NYC Time Square to kick off his latest charity stunt.

I’d be like Paris after about 4 hours.

K-Fed Denies Trying to Sell Sex Tape…

Apparently, K-Fed wanted to sell a sex tape of him and B-Spears. Eh, that name doesn’t work for her I guess.

He is now saying that there is no sex tape.

Here is the video for K-Fed’s piece of crap called a “song” by the name of Lose Control. Honestly, I have seen better things in the toilet than that video.

Wesley Snipes: 'I'm Being Made a Scapegoat'…

Wesley Snipes insists he's been singled out as a "scapegoat" after being indicted on charges of seeking $12 million in fraudulent tax refunds last month.

The actor maintains he has been targeted because his celebrity attracts public interest, and that he is the victim in the case.

Angelina Jolie Pays Surprise Visit to Cambodia…

Angelina Jolie has taken time out of filming in India to pay an unannounced visit to Cambodia to oversee a conservation project.

The star has been shooting the new movie 'A Mighty Heart' in India and briefly met officials in Pailin, a former Khmer Rouge stronghold, northwest of the country.

11-20 Dish: Is Kramer racist?
21 November 06 12:38 AM | Zach | 1 comment(s)

Well, even though this week was meant to be “stress free” for me, it has become more stressful than any other week this month so far. And its only Monday. Tomorrow I thought I could leave early to come home and relax before cooking for Thanksgiving and cleaning, etc. Nope, someone asked me to do some stuff for them. I said yes of course. I am bad at saying no. I gotta work on that.

No, I will not give you your box office results!

Alright fine, here they are…

"Kramer" Spews N-Word at Comedy Show…

Actor Michael Richards, who played quirky Cosmo Kramer on Seinfeld, is in a lot of hot water!

TMZ.com reports the comedian lashed out Friday at some African-American men at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood, California.

On the tape, Richards can be heard saying, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a (bleeping) fork up your (bleep)."

Adding, "Throw his (bleep) out. He's a (n-word)!"

News Corp. Pulls O.J. Simpson Book, TV Special…

I laughed sooo hard about this one.

Since there was sooo much criticism about this story, Rupert Murdoch scrapped the book and the TV interviews. I don’t blame him. So fix your tivo’s no more OJ on your tivo.

Cruise and Holmes Enjoy Three Minute Kiss…

Woh, I really don’t care. All I got to say is GET A ROOM.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes surprised guests at their wedding Saturday by indulging in a three minute kiss.

The newlyweds sealed their marriage with a prolonged smooch, oblivious to the 150 family and friends at the ceremony.

11-19 Dish: Random slashdot articles
20 November 06 12:28 AM | Zach | 1 comment(s)

Well, it is the weekend and celebrities usually take this day off from being the world, according to my sources that is. So for today’s dish I have the celebrity birthdays and some off topic things.

Celebrity Birthdays…

Ann Curry - 19 November, 1959
News Anchor
Calvin Klein - 19 November, 1943
Esther Duller - 19 November, 1966
Gail Devers - 19 November, 1966
Gene Tierney - 19 November, 1920
Glynnis O'Connor - 19 November, 1956
Jason Riddington - 19 November, 1968
Jerry Hogsett - 19 November, 1963
Jodie Foster - 19 November, 1948
Kathleen Quinlan - 19 November, 1955
Larry King - 19 November, 1933
Meg Ryan - 19 November, 1961
Robert Beltran - 19 November, 1957
Rodney Ochoa - 19 November, 1940
Ted Turner - 19 November, 1938
Terry Farrell - 19 November, 1963

The other topics I wanted to bring up were from 2 slashdot articles I read. Here is the first one.

Lauren Weinstein writes to raise an alarm about a new Google service, Click-to-Call. As he describes it, the service seems ripe for abuse of several kinds. One red flag is that Google falsifies the caller-ID of calls it originates for the service. From the article: "Up to now, the typical available avenue for manipulating caller-ID has been pay services that tended to limit the potential for large-scale abuse since users are charged for access. Google, by providing a free service that will place calls and manipulate caller-ID, vastly increases the scope of the problem. Scale matters."

I have yet to use Click-to-Call but it sounds really cool.

And here was the other article.

"In an effort to handle its nighttime public urination problem, Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is considering installing high-tech urinals that disappear below street level during the day. Then at night, an operator comes by with a remote and the Urilift hydraulically lifts to sidewalk level in about two minutes. Then the unit is ready to serve all the nighttime party animals who don't mind peeing in a very exposed public urinal. The $75,000 system has been installed across the Netherlands, and have spread to London and Belfast, but Victoria will be the first North American city to try them out."

I just thought it was funny. There is no real reason I put this in the dish today.

Finally, I just found another Slashdot article. The ad that goes along with it is really cool. But I wouldn’t go to it unless you have a good pop up blocker.

"Everyday objects can produce interesting effects when you stick them in a standard microwave. Grapes spark, matches create superheated plasma fireballs, mini lightning-bolts arc between sheets of aluminum foil, and soap both splits open and puffs up, creating a somewhat vulgar spurt of bubbly excrement that has to be seen to be fully appreciated. However, as cool as microwave experimentation can be, balls of plasma and the like are bad for both your eyes and your microwave, so it's probably best not to try these things at home.

update This site apparently is behind a really nasty popup that I missed (yay Firefox) the first time through. You've been warned... here it is but given the overall rottenness of the pop-up, I guess I wouldn't bother. Some folks know no shame. My apologies to the readers.

Plus there is a nice YouTube search for microwaves.

Alright, that’s the weekend!!

11-18 Dish: Harry Potter and the OotP Teaser leaked
19 November 06 01:12 AM | Zach | 4 comment(s)

Well, its Saturday which means it was the day of the Tomkat wedding and the big OSU vs. UM game. Here is your mid weekend dish.

Harry Potter and the OotP Trailer leaked…

Below is the trailer for the 5th Harry Potter movie. This is the official one but it is “bootlegged” Go here to see a larger view of it.

Tomkat are officially one!...

In a medival castle near Rome Saturday, actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes became happily married.

The wedding was celebrated by a Scientologist minister. The twice-divorced Cruise is an ardent follower of the church founded by science-fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. Holmes was raised a Catholic.

Another one bites the dust…

Well there goes another celebrity couple. The husband of actress Kate Hudson, Chris Robinson, has filed for divorce three months after they went their separate ways, People magazine reported. Robinson, 39, and Hudson, 27, who married on New Year's Eve in 2000, announced their separation back in August. At the time, rumors swirled that Hudson was romantically involved with her You, Me and Dupree co-star, Owen Wilson. Both Hudson and Wilson have denied that they're an item.

Kimberly Stewart Denies Liver Problem…

Remember from yesterday, she said “I thought because I am half Scottish that I can drink a lot” or something close to that.

Rocker Rod Stewart's Los Angeles-based daughter, Kimberly, denies she has a liver problem related to too much alcohol.

The 27-year-old model told People magazine that while she has cut back on the drinking and smoking, her recent physical problems resulted from burning the candle at both ends and not a liver disease.

Celebrity Birthdays…

Chloe Sevigny - 18 November, 1974
Duncan Sheik - 18 November, 1969
Elizabeth Perkins - 18 November, 1960
Kirk Hammett - 18 November, 1962
Owen Wilson - 18 November, 1968
Peta Wilson - 18 November, 1970
Saskia Bastiaan – 18 November, 1981

Well, that’s the dish for the weekend. See you all back here Monday!! Unless there is some other breaking story…

11-17 Dish: Friday Movie Releases, Tomkat wedding prepariations
18 November 06 01:04 AM | Zach | with no comments

Not more than an hour ago, I posted about the OSU vs. UM game. Hard core Ohio fans/ Michigan fans go ahead and rip on each other there. Lets get the Dish business done (you know, the stuff I am supposed to talk about).

Movie Releases…

Casino Royale

Rated: PG-13 for intense sequences of violent action, a scene of torture, sexual content and nudity

Daniel Craig takes over the role of the legendary British secret agent, James Bond, in the highly anticipated 007 adventure thriller. "Casino Royale" will be the 21st James Bond film.

Happy Feet

Rated: PG for some mild peril and rude humor

A comedy adventure, Happy Feet is set deep in Antarctica. Into the land of the Emperor penguins, where each needs a Heartsong to attract a soul mate, a penguin is born who cannot sing. Our hero Mumble, son of Memphis, and Norma Jean, is the worst singer in the world... however, as it happens, he is a brilliant tap dancer!

Let’s Go to Prison

Rated: R for language, sexual content, some violence and drug material

Very basic. A career criminal and an entitled rich guy wind up sharing a cell in a maximum-security prison.

In other Dishy topics…

Cruise-Holmes Looking Forward to Wedding Night…

Check out Today's Daily Dish Poll!!

This is probably the biggest topic I will cover in a while so here it goes.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are just the latest in a string of celebrity couples to marry in the picturesque lakeside town of Bracciano, Italy.

Cruise, 44, and Holmes, 27, will marry on Saturday in the town's 16th century medieval Castello Odescalchi after a 19 month courtship.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' baby daughter Suri will wear a $650 Petit Tresor dress to the celebrity wedding of the year on Saturday.

Follow-up: Simpson Publisher Says Book is Confession…

O.J. Simpson's upcoming book amounts to a confession to the 1994 killing of his ex-wife and her friend, his publisher says.
The book, If I Did It, scheduled for release Nov. 30, is a hypothetical account of how the former football star could have killed Nichole Brown Simpson and Ronald L. Goldman. He admits nothing.

This is becoming an insane story.

'Borat' Hit With Further Legal Trouble…

Glad to see this! I totally disliked the movie.

British funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen is facing further legal woes after a woman who featured in his latest movie claims she was misled.

Cindy Streit, who owns an etiquette business, filed a complaint on Thursday with California Attorney General Bill Lockyer, requesting an investigation into possible violations of the California Unfair Trade Practices Act.

Rod Stewart's Daughter Has Liver Disease From Drinking…

Rod Stewart's 27-year-old daughter Kimberly is suffering from liver disease, caused by excessive alcohol consumption.

The 61-year-old rocker reveals doctors have told Kimberly her liver is badly deteriorated and she risks putting her life in danger if she doesn't stop drinking completely.

This next part is copied, I couldn’t word it any other way.

In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Stewart says, "She just discovered that she had a very serious liver illness from drinking too much."

"She said to me, 'Dad, I'm half Scottish - I thought I was allowed to drink a lot.'" Yep, she is blond in case you are wondering.

The win was the second for Smith's professional partner, Cheryl Burke.

Actor Mario Lopez finished second.
