that white and nerdy video is classic wierd al,,although he never wins grammies or anything like that,i feel that he is an irreplacable presence,a much needed character in todays music. He brings a sense of humor and a lighthearted feeling to music, also some satyre and wit,and breaks alot of tension in the air.musically he is no genius but like i said he is needed in todays cookie cut image of music and groups.Where have talented musicians and instrument players went, guitars, bass, drum solos, saxophones, piano and keyboard players along with real D.J'S and the original two turntables and a microphone because even hip-hop has succumbed to the commercialization or" gentrification" if you will, that all other genres have.now its synthesizers and studio voice overs, computers and beat programs along with lip-synching and reality t.v.shows,,lol,,what the hell happened to music these days,,wow,,not to say there is no talent out there but they are very few and far between,,so these cookie cut" musicians" wich the airwaves and t.v. is flooded and saturated with, try to bring a seriousness and sense of emotional distress to listeners, because they are told thats what sells, thats what "fits",so every friggin song you hear has the same common thread in each genre,if its not about diamonds, money, strip clubs and cristal, then its about how depressed and how blue and suicidal someone is,or how much life sux and how "poor me" the song gets, and then you have the very angry songstress who curses her ex and tells how bad he was of a freeloader and how she is moving on and finding another just like him,,,lol,,,its all the same sadly,,so back to my point,,lol,,there i go again on a tangent,,lol,,bring it back vitt lol,,we need wierd al every once in a while to let out his strange but funny sense of humor to lighten the load or kinda snap the tension so to speak,,and just for something refreshing and a change of pace,,different,,diversity is the spice of life,,did i say that quote right?lmao,,well ill shut up now,,i love these blogs,,later

WOW, thanks for the comment! I totally agree with you. I think we need more Weird Al's in the world.  I get a sense of weird Al every morning from the radio station I listen to. They talk about alot of politically incorrect things. Makes me laugh.
