Zach's Weigh In 3

Well, made it to week three! This week was more of being tired, and a bit stressed out with all the work that's being piled on... I've been handling it well, when something gets frustrating, I just get up and hop on the treadmill for a while. The weather yesterday, today and tomorrow looks nice enough to be able to head outside for a while! I'll be looking forward to that tonight. But enough about that, let's get down to business!

I started at 295.

Last week I was at 288

This week I'm down another 2 pounds bringing me to 286 for a total of 9 pounds. I say accomplishment met this week! I've lost 6% of the weight I want to lose. Let's keep that up Smile

Here's this weeks' profile shot compared to last week's shot (the new one is dated)

The only thing I can see in these pictures is that I think my lightbulb is slowly fading away and I should get a new one...

See ya next week!

Zach's Weigh In 2

Last week I weighed in at 291, losing 4 pounds from the start. I've always had the habit of getting on the scale every day, this leads to discouragement and frustration because when you step on that scale, you want to see lower numbers. I was down more mid- this week than I was today for weigh in. Partially due to this week's temptation. My sister decided that since she's on Spring Break, she would make a nice HUGE batch of chocolate chip cookies! How fun huh? Don't tempt me! I'm terrible with that stuff! I was good the first two days with them, only had one a day max. But they were SOOO good! And they knew my name Sad I was glad when they were gone... I'm thinking about skipping the cheat meal this week because of the cookies...

Anyway, I weighed in today at 288 losing another 3 pounds, bringing me to a total of 7 total pounds lost. This surpasses my first goal of [x] Losing 5 pounds. I am well on my way to my second goal of [ ] Losing 10 pounds. Hopefully I'll be at that one next week. Here's the full list of my Goals:

See ya next Friday!

Start of Week 2...

For about two weeks now, I have been taking a different route to get to my first class in the morning. You see, the one I liked was a more direct route that involved lots of steps. By the time I got to the classroom, I was exhausted. So I found a path that only required me to take the steps in the building to my classroom, about 2 fleights. That was a TON better, I was feeling better walking that path.

Today was the start of week two so I decided to take the route with more stairs, just to see how I am doing so far. I walked all the way here and shockingly, I'm less out of breath than I was only a few weeks ago on this path! I want to be able to make it the whole way without getting out of breath.

Instead of the treadmill lately I've been looking into other ways of exercise. Over the weekend I did DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) which is a BLAST! About two hours a day over the weekend, very fun! I also went out traveling to find a public track so when I want to run, I know where it is and can find it easily. I want to see how many laps it is in a mile... Maybe after I get my pedometer later this week I'll figure it out.

Zach's Weigh In 1

Week one of this lifelong journey was a tough one... I'm still lacking motivation a bit but I'm striving to push on. I decided that the treadmill is cheat-able so I'll only be doing that when it rains now.

If I go out and walk I'll have no choice but to walk back so in turn, it will force me to keep going.

I started out at the beginning of the week at 295 and my weigh in will take place on Thursdays... therefore posting it on Friday...

So starting at 295, this week I'm down to 291, which means I've lost 4 pounds.
