Earnhardt, Jr. Defends Stepmother
In a weird twist, Dale Earnhardt Jr. found himself defending
his stepmother against comments made by Kevin Harvick. “It’s hard
when you have what I call a deadbeat owner that doesn’t come to the
racetrack,” Harvick told reporters at the Tuesday night media session.
“You’re killing me,” responded Junior. “That’s
ridiculous. I don’t think there is a comment for that remark.”
“Booogity, Boogity, Boogity! Let’s go racin’
fans”
As reported on driver Darrell Waltrip’s blog, about 60
percent of the fans surveyed are in favor of continuing to use the phrase as
part of the telecasts. I know, it’s corny, but hey, it’s a
tradition! Besides, we even ‘borrow’ it to use for the Cub Scout
Pinewood Derby!
