Yes, this is for THAT kind of amaretto.  The kind that tastes wondeful on ice or in a mixed drink like an Amaretto Stone Sour.  The longer you let this age, the smoother it becomes, so make it now and save it for the holidays!

AMARETTO RECIPE:

2 Cups Water

2 Cups Sugar

2 Cups Vodka

2 Cups Brandy

4 teasp. Almond Extract

In pan cook sugar and water, simmering for 10 min, stirring occasionally.  When it is clear remove from heat and cool.  Stir in remaining ingredients and bottle.  Let sit for at least 3 months

The longer the smoother!
