We have spent the week on LiveGamesNetwork digging into the apparent suicide of Lizzie Bellow. There seems to be a very faint distinction between her story and that of fallen idols such as Marilyn Monroe (her name/birthdate was a clue in the game) and the current pop girls that run around town. In this game, we are helping new paparazzi photographer "Hank" as smells a conspiracy and follows his hunch.

As we go into week 2, we seem to be now zeroing in on who did this and why. We have tracked the restaurants she visited, have helped Hank get into one of her apartments and seen who was following her by tracing red light violations.

There is an iPhone and Wii up for grabs so hopefully we can climb the leaderboard a little!!!! We are playing at LiveGamesNetwork.

The new game is about the apparent suicide of a young starlet. We can see that there are very obvious parallels betwen Lizzie Bello and the Paris Hilton's, Britney Spear's and Lyndsay Lohan's of the world. Quite topical actually. The game says we are helping a guy called Hank who does not believe the suicide story for one second.

Probably sounds sad to say... but we miss hearing from Max!!!!!!

The Prague Files II has just ended and we had a ball! There were some times when the puzzles were a bit easy or a bit hard. But we liked that we had a little challenge or something to look through each day. As a disclosure, we are not play to win players. We just enjoyed the little puzzles that made us think for 10-15 mins. We also very much enjoyed the back story which we looked into a lot. We read about things we hope are just conspiracy theories. We much preferred the games where you had to look through INTEL to find a clue and figure out a code than the games that were more like mini games - i.e. twist tile/mazes.

The story had a good flow and the conclusion revealed a name of the bad guys (N22) who was behing Jack's father death. We assume there will be a Prague Files III that Keith Jackson (the bad guy) will feature prominently... Or perhaps it will be his son a la Spiderman.

Here is one of the final tasks...

So after helping him over the past two weeks, Jack has ditched Max and seemingly accepted Maggie's offer to join her at N22. She dropped this bomb on him during a conversation that was wiretapped by Max. She explained that N22 was an invisible army that seek to do what our governments cannot.... and that Jack's father was prt of N22 as well and died as part of an accident. At the end of the conversation Maggie offers Jack compensation to give up Max and he says double it and he's in.

Then today Jack told us that it was a double cross on Maggie. He knew she would have to call back to N22 leaders to get approval on much larger payment. He got us to trace the siginal so he could find out what was said. He needs a name.

This game is coming to an exciting end. We have loved the characters text messaging us when we do something online. Definitely the most fun and unique part. If you want to join us... come to LiveGamesNetwork

Max and Jack have had to bring in an expert to get into a warehouse. They are very close to finding out who is behind N22 and consequently who ordered the murder of Jack's father, Captain John Gregory. Today's task involved us searching a desk and putting a code together. The system then sent it to Jack. Now this was a cool part... as soon as we sent it on to Jack's cell via the game, he text us back right away saying thanks I received the code. It is cool how they have the game synced to your cell phone so the characters instantly respond to you based on what you do online.

Today, we learnt that sometimes we have to turn our brains on. There are two of us playing and we mainly keep in contact via IM during work and when this new task dropped, we stared, argued, stared, chatted, stared... and thought, wow, this is not doable.

Then we said, wait let's think about it. It was at that point we actually started looking instead of trying to break the challenge in two seconds.

We were given the task of breaking into an employee database and change retina records to the black ops agent who is working for us. We needed to find an employee that she could double for and who had a day off tomorrow (Tuesday). Of course, we overlooked that it said RDO (regular day off) and thought the asterix meant that people had the day on.. not off. Wen went ahead and updated the fields and switched the retina scans so that Maggie can gain access.

She is now going in to see if she can find the names of the "issuers". They were people who had infiltrated "middle" government in the early 80's and were able to issue orders to field agents in Europe and Africa without upper government or agents knowing. When the agents knew too much they were sent to Prague for an "accident". If you want to join us we are playing over at LiveGamesNetwork

Yesterday we had to go through our intelligence and make contact with a spy to recruit her for a mission. Boy, those spies can be nasty. We chose the wrong one's a few times and sent them the brief and they came back with some angry comments. A rude bunch! The Prague Files II is turning out to be a hunt for the people behind the probably murder of Captain John Gregory.

So as we have come to like, as soon as we individually finished the game/challenge we received a text message... like the character was watching over us. That's pretty cool.

We are noticing that the format is task one day, intel the next. Some people are wanting more and some people like the pacing. So we'll see how that goes. The intel becomes like a task itself so we dont mind the way it is going now. If you want to join us, go to LiveGamesNetwork

So at the moment Jack could be stuck in an ambush in Maine, NH!!!!!! Or, he could also have his hands on the information we need to bring down N22.

This is the point we have hit in this game kids. We are now finding ourselves sifting through intelligence and inbox messages reading far too much into cryptic one liners and trying to find out the identities of nameless people in the photos. So yes, this game sucks you in.

Yesterday, we were given the task of short circuiting an alarm system:

So we are in to day 2 of The Prague Files II and we must say, we are having fun.

The game reacts to you - so when you finish a task, the game instantly knows and you will get a text with a new lead. That was pretty fun. Yesterday we had to decipher a code from the intelligence folder we were given. We actually had to use our brain.

Today we were given new intelligence and a bit more about the backstory of The Prague Files. We get told that Max has been researching who is behind the organization known as N22. These guys were alledely responsible for setting up Jack's father. The images and letters and links in the intelligence point to things like Bohemian Grove and Black Helicopters which made some very very very interesting reading for us on Wikipedia. I COULD NOT believe the black helicopter stuff. So the intel says that the peope in N22 are like these guys. We are still trying to work out who the guy is in the picture.
So far , so good... and every time I get a text now I am secretly hoping its Max :)

The countdown on the livegamesnetwork.com says that the game is going to start at 11am pacific/2pm eastern.

We are not sure how it is going to start so please if anyone hears anything, let us know here in the comments so all have a bit of a clue!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the game starts on Monday. So we are all locked and loaded and have played through the Prague Files I game to make sure we know everything about the backstory.

From what we can gather so far, Jack is the hero we are helping. He is being helped by an old agent who had his life destroyed after getting too close to the truth. The bad guys are called N22. From the first game, we found out that they setup Jack's father in Prague 20 years ago. He was killed along with 10 young servicemen and it was made to look like his fault. After 20 years of living in shame, Jack was visited by someone who was there that night. The trailer is pretty cool - check it out on the games link above. Looks like a movie trailer.

So a bit more about our experience in the first game:

- The game reacts to you. So when you read a message, a task opens. When a challenge is completed, sometimes you get a text message like the characters are watching over your every move. This was our fave part.

- The game dashboard This the point you go back to each time. You have an INBOX, INTELLIGENCE and TASK folder. There was 8 challenges in that game.

- The tasks You use the clues in the inbox and intel to break the tasks. Definite mind benders and very cool concepts for each one. Its like you are playing the role of the resident hacker... which was cool.
