I am RIDICULOUSLY EXCITED about this next contest for several reasons!! Presenting to you, a very talented young Aussie artist - MISSY HIGGINS! Missy was brought up in Melbourne, Australia (just like me!) but she's a few years younger than me so we don't know each other from school! Missy won the Unearthed contest held by Triple J when she was just 16, with a song she wrote herself. This is a huge competition in Australia. Her first complete album was released in 2004 when she was just 21 and debuted at #1 on the Australian charts! Her second album, On A Clear Night was released in the US in February and she is currently touring in the US supporting the Indigo Girls!
