One of the first gadget.X posts was about a futuristic outlet that was also an inlet, you could plug your treadmill or stationary bike into it and take money off your bill... This concept is entirely different but much more plausible! There are a great deal of things that charge or need to be powered through a USB port. Sometimes you’d rather not be stuck next to your computer when that item needs charged. Well now there’s an outlet that allows for you to charge your USB gadgets away from your computer. Thankfully, it’s not just a silly concept design and it’s a pretty affordable fix. The TruePower power outlet solution has two USB ports as well as two standard three prong power outlets. The USB port won’t draw any power unless something is actually connected to the port in order to make it so that the port doesn’t become a vampire port.
