About Cyb3rCrim3

I am a law professor who specializes in the legal and policy issues that arise from cybercrime, cyberterrorism and (to a lesser extent) cyberwarfare (a/k/a information warfare).

This is a blog about those issues.  Since I am a lawyer, my focus will be on the legal issues.  In talking about the legal issues, though, I will integrate technology to the extent it is appropriate.

My focus here, and in the real-world, will be primarily upon U.S. law, but I also deal with international issues.  So I will also try to integrate comments on how the law of other countries deals with some of the issues I address.

I will try to keep the posts as brief as possible, but it is usually difficult to deal with most any legal issue without going on for a few (or more) paragraphs.  If I do not address an aspect of an issue which you find interesting, please email me and I will do my best to make up for my default in another post.

And if you have any suggestions for topics you would like me to post on, please email me and I will do my best to oblige.

Keep in mind, though, that I am a lawyer who specializes in criminal issues.  I know something about civil litigation and civil law, but not that much and it can be dangerous to opine about law in areas in which one does not practice.
