Wow! . . . How humbling, I thought, to be put in a list with those above me . . . An honor I certainly do not deserve . . . but then, I noticed that Mr. T and Gary Coleman were also listed and I concluded that, hey, the list deteriorated rather quickly after C. S. Lewis anyway . . . so, why not . . . What you talkin' about . . . fool! That's me . . .

My favorite vacation memory is of riding horses at a dude ranch in the mountains of Montana--what kid doesn't love roughing it in the great outdoors!

Ah, the Weather Channel. I haven't watched that in some time. Do they still play elevator music while the weather map and temperatures scroll over and over again with the occasional electronic voice that says: "Wednesday evening (pause) 10 to 20% chance of rain (pause) wind (pause) east to north east (pause) 5 miles per hour"?

Driving from Orlando to Duck Key (yes... there really is a Duck Key. At about 7 years old, I tormented my family the whole trip with "duckie" jokes) Once we got there, we learned that the hurricane we THOUGHT was going a different direction was headed towards us. We spent the whole night in the hotel with the Weather Channel on with the volume down low. We left in the morning stopping only to get T-shirts for all of us! To this day, the Weather Channel at the right volume will put me to sleep!!!

not true love....look above the bookcase to see the German flag as well as all the German signs, books, tributes, and the "honk if you love Germany" bumper sticker on the VW parked outside.
