New, improved, and twice the sarcasm. Week In Weird 2.0
Today is Friday and that means...the week in weird brought to you by my mother who decided to have a baby 36 years ago. Thanks Mom! Friday is for photos so here goes. 1. You always see me plug Joe Thorn's photos [ link ] and Steve Mckoy [ link ] so here are some of my very favorite. Joe Thorn Steve Mckoy 3. Finally a couple of my own photos If you like great photography make sure to visit Steve Mckoy's Friday photos here [ link ] and Joe Thorn's here [ link ]. Want to see your photo published here? By the numbers - 55 - that's the number of consecutive pushups i just did. I am working my way through the 100 push-up challenge [ link ]. Give it a try, it's free. 36 - that's the number of lbs I have lost since March. For most of my life I have tried to lose weight by changing diet, exercising, etc. with limited...
Ok, so I see a tremendous amount of weird things in my daily travels across this great land, some funny, some sad, and some things I just have to shake my head at. So today I decided to fight back. If 1000 words are worth 1000 words and a picture is worth 1000 words why not use two pictures and a handful of words to say about 2500 words worth? 1. These two photos were taken with my Verizon Razor camera phone so please pardon the poor image quality I found it very comforting that the management provided toilet seat liners for my protection (in case you can't read the words it says....."provided by the management for your protection" How cool is that? I mean, how in the world did they know I would be there anyway...and to go so far as to think of me and my protection. I was feeling pretty good for having visited this establishment what with their caring management and all until.... 2. I see this right above. If the manager really cared about me he would have kindly asked the...
Another week gone, and another series of posts handed over in triplicate to the folks at iron mountain to be hauled via armored car to the hillside bunker for safe keeping. This week's caravan is being escorted by George Mitchell [ link ] for some strange reason he has become available all of a sudden? 1. Friday is for photos: The first photo is real fast you dig? 2. This one is real slow. If you like great photography make sure to visit Steve Mckoy's Friday photos here [ link ] and Joe Thorn's here [ link ]. Want to see your photo published here? Submit all family friendly photos to bjnotbk@gmail.com for consideration. Please note that I reserve the right to publish or not publish any submission. 3. It was a great relief to see that I was not "outed" in the Mitchel report for steroid use. I couldn't bare life knowing that my readers knew of my performance enhancing past. Coffee talk - is the Mitchell report, 409 pages, 20 months in the making [ link ] a complete...
Another week gone, yet this week I am asking the boys to keep the armored car in the garage in an effort to reduce my carbon footprint, besides, I didn't have enough material this week to warrant the trip to Iron Mountain. 1. Friday is for photos: This was taken while out with the family. I didn't realize how serious Pirates were about their education (zoom in on the back of the bus). Who would have known? I also like the "Hug Life" on the side. Several of you have asked to see pictures of the new summer home. I normally try to keep my personal life secret but thought I would share our new "little" getaway with you. If you like great photography make sure to visit Steve Mckoy's Friday photos here [ link ] and Joe Thorn's here [ link ]. Want to see your photo published here? Another week gone, and another series of posts handed over in triplicate to the folks at iron mountain to be hauled via armored car to the hillside bunker for safe keeping. I am told that the caravan will have two pit bulls on board recently purchased from the Bad Newz Kennel owned by none other than ex Atlanta Falcon Superstar Michael Vick. 1. Friday is for photos: The first was taken at the Chattanooga Discovery Museum. This picture comes to you courtesy of Fluffy Cow. I'll let her do the explaining.
